Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022)
The most mediocre film to ever exist
I felt absolutely nothing watching this film. This is only a film because it meets a film's minimum qualifications.
Events in the film happen. There is no goal, no tension. There is only a set of events that happen in rapid succession.
This film does not make you feel anything. You feel no joy. You feel no sadness. You do not feel anything towards the characters. You do not actively root for their failure or success. You just see them talk and move around the scene. You only feel apathy watching this movie.
This film is neither bad nor good. It is simply a semi-coherent mess of cartoon references and celebrity voices.
Transformers: Earthspark (2022)
Bland Nothingburger
TF Earthspark is the most mediocre Transformers series produced in years, and perfectly encapsulates how creatively bankrupt both Hasbro and Nickelodeon are.
The series is a cliché "kid hates the new town they move to" slice-of-life show with a Transformers texture pack applied. The series tries to have epic, nuanced lore mixed with Teletubbies-tier ploit conflicts.
The Decepticons aren't even the main villains. Instead, we get a human scientist who hates Transformers as the main villain. (Wow, how original!)
In closing, TF Earthspark is a bland robot cartoon for toddlers. You're better off watching the Machinima Trilogy.
