Femme Fatale (2002)
One of the worst movies
` I´ve seen in a while. The first 10 minutes are amazing and I expected an interesting and exciting plot. Instead the movie is a failure.
The plot doesn´t make any sense. Even if you consider the premise it´s a huge disappointment. The acting is horrible. The supposed femme fatale fails in every aspect. I couldn´t believe how simple they made a transition of seven years. In this movie nothing changes. Everything stays the same like the cars or the people. Do they really think the audience is as stupid as the screenplay? The movie lacks credibility not only in the scene design, but also in characters and in the story.
For a director like Brian de Palma, who also has written the screenplay, it is a major disaster. If u see this one u wont believe how much suspense De Palma created in earlier movies. Hope he makes a much, much better flick next time.
Jugofilm (1997)
It could have been a great movie
It could have been a great movie, but the end doesn´t fit with the rest. It is obviuos that the director made faults in the screenplay. Jugofilm is also an example how important the score for a film is.The music got on my nerves, though I really liked the story. The actors are convencing and it is especially noteworthy what the director&writer developed a complex setting. Because of all the positive sites of this little movie I was very disappointed with the last ten minutes.
M - Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder (1931)
A great screenplay and great directing
Without doubt a must-seen, a masterpiece of movie arts. It is very interesting to see, how a movie though 70 yeras old can be on such
a high level. I think, even today after long years of screenplay- writing no one could write a better screenplay. It may look simple on the first look, but every person in this film has something to say. By watching the movie you feel you are in Berlin at the time...
