This is probably the worst after hiatus episode in all star trek history. The show ended quite with a bang in the last episode and I was looking forward to the exciting continuation after hiatus. But they gave a horrible, boring, illogical and plain stupid episode. Everything about this episode makes not sense. These are rational behaviour of people when fate of the galaxy hangs on balance?

Fatman (2020)

Unexpectedly good

This movie is unexpectedly good and original. Given the last couple of Gibson movies, I was a bit sceptical but this has given me much entertainment. The best part is the original take on Christmas. Give this one a go, you won't regret it.

Attraction (2017)

Decent SciFi

Quite a decent SciFi. The effects are absolutely top notch! Seriously, Russia needs to make more movies like this and also distribute them in English. On the other hand, the story is a bit weak and if this is how Russians behave in real life, then maybe the western narrative of "aggressive Russia" is not that false.

Jessica Jones (2015–2019)

Excellent start then boring

The first 4 episodes are simply amazing! 10/10 but then it becomes boring and repetitive. At some point you start hating Jessica Jones. If you don't then you should because everyone around her is dying because of her incompetence and stubbornness. To save one life (Hope) she scarifies many more as bodies keep piling up (the mother, the neighbor, the two special forces guys). Hating the series now! Getting lamer with every episode (currently at episode 11).

The only character who is consistent is Kilgrave and he is the bad guy. So much potential and unnecessarily wasted. I have seen many people rate this 10/10. I am unclear if they choose to ignore these or they are OK with her being stupid and sacrificing many people to save one person.

In Fear (I) (2013)

Don't waste your time

Don't waste your time, don't watch this movie. The movie is horrible. Horrible action and even worse editing. A monkey can do better editing than this. The characters are unbelievable and don't react like normal people would in those situations. There is absolutely no chemistry between the boy and girl in the movie. In the movie, they are dating for two weeks but they act like complete strangers and nothing like a new couple. About one hours into the movie, these two people are completely lost, inside a maze and the car is out of petrol and the guys asks the girl "Are you OK?" This is the kind of dialogue you can expect if you watch this movie. Nothing about this movie is right. AWFUL movie.

Nice slow thriller that sometimes gets lost

I saw this during a screening in Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square. I will confess that I don't normally watch independent movies and have no idea about the director's previous work. I wasn't expecting much. The shots, lighting and environment were pretty good, the editing was good too. Considering the limited budget and that they made this movie in 22 days I think the movie is pretty good. But having said that if I judge this movie neutrally I would say it's an average plus. The plot resolves around a death of a pretty (and lost?) girl. The whole plot resolves around this and sometimes becomes too boring and lagging. The director has tried hard to make this like an art movie but sometimes the artistic expressions don't make any sense. There is some nudity and sex in the movie but they are neither erotic, not do their presence contribute to the movie in any way so I don't see the point of having those. It feels like they just wanted some skin in the movie. Still the movie is enjoyable. The major complain I have about this movie is that it does not give you a satisfactory ending or a proper ending with answers. I really dislike open ended movies that leave the conclusion to the viewers and if you are like me you will not like the ending too.

Crap! Total Crap!

Seriously what a piece of crap!! You get the impression form the very beginning that this is going to be a very cheap B movie when the starting special effects is all shiny and looks like toys created by a 3D newbie. They actually get some decent special effects in the middle part but by then you are already counting the minutes when this terrible movie will end fueled by terrible acting, sub par CGI, no plot. And just if that's not enough for you, they'll mix you up with religious song and beliefs that will really wish you had cut your wrist and committed suicide rather than watching this movie. The first movie was so great!!! Somehow I get the feeling that they are competing to make the worst sequels possible with every new starship troopers they bring out!

Dragon Wars: D-War (2007)

Spectacular Effects Weak acting and editing

The movie started OK, just like all other movies. Nothing bad there. In the middle it gets lost a bit. Then the special effects start popping up and they are spectacular. The movie is full of effects and they are indeed very good.

The only thing keeping this movie down is the weak acting and weak editing and some weak direction at places. Even the plot was OK. Really, some of the middle scenes jumps without any connection, really takes down the movie. Had this been directed by any good director fixing plot and acting issues, this would have been 8-9 out of 10. Unfortunately I had to give it 6/10 for those weaknesses.

Shattered (2007)

Awful stupid movie rated high

This is a awful movie. Don't be fooled by the high IMDb rating. This has been voted high by the director, his relatives and the production crew to fool people to watch this movie.

The basic plot is simple enough, a couple are forced to follow the instruction of the abductor who has kidnapped their child. But the main hole here is that the kidnapper is with the couple the whole time and there are hundreds of times when they could have taken down the kidnapper. The kidnapper doesn't even have a backup plan like calling every 10/15 minutes to the other perpetrators that everything is OK. So taking him down at anytime does not even put the child at risk. Yet they never do. What makes you really hate this movie is that whenever the couple makes a mistake the abductor (Pierce Brosnan) threats them showing the phone that he can make a call and finish off the child. We viewers are supposed to feel helpless in this situation (supposed by the director). But the pathetic truth is since he does not have to call back regularly, any mother (who's child has been abducted) probably would have sliced his ball off with bare hands.

Even the police has been shown as stupid in this movie.

Having said all these, I will mention two good things: 1. The movie starts slow (intentionally) and changes pace at one brief moment dramatically and that moment is really great to watch. 2. The ending is good (and the reason I didn't rate it 1).

Hostel: Part II (2007)

Very pathetic, well worse than part I

The movie is totally awful. No I am not one of the those that hate blood and gore. I loved Hostel 1. It showed too much blood gore and nasty stuff but still the movie had something going, it still kept you interested. This movie seemed like a low budget grade B movie (even though it wasn't). Nothing in the movie was well thought of. It was just like as if "let us just show some nudity and blood and surely the audience will be happy". A pathetic sequel to a much better movie. Even the ending is not well thought up. I am sure many people will go to see this movie expecting better than Hostel 1 and will be severely disappointed like I was.

Sunshine (2007)

Worst space movie

This is one of the worst space movies out there. It may compete with the movie Event Horizon for the worst space. The basic story setup is pretty good and it starts out pretty good too. The movie had much promise which is totally wasted. It seems critical earth saving missions are led by people who are more close to monkeys in evolution level than astronauts. Also critical mission calculation like course change is left to one man, yet critical decisions that should be take by one man (i.e. the captain) is left to the entire crew. Overall makes you bored and makes you angry at the stupidity of the writers and directors for making the movie this way. This movie had the potential to be a much better movie.

Reeker (2005)

Pityful excuse of a movie

The movies is too lame and crap to be called even a movie. I have to admit that it has a interesting beginning, but other than that the whole movie is crap. It tries to make lame tension moments and then ultimately throws nothing at you. Even the ending does not explain anything. The characters don't respond properly to the situation at all. Everyone is dying still everyone is not banded together like normal people would do. Very very lame.

The story is poorly written. I guess they came up with a idea and rather than writing a proper script and story, they just banded few scenes to make a movie. Would not recommend even on the desperate days.

Supernatural (2005–2020)

Excellent, combines all the horror elements

This show is absolutely excellent. Some might say that it copies ideas from popular movies(the ring, grudge), but it uses only the best ideas that viewers like and build episode on that. I have seen every episode of season 1 and although not every episode is excellent, as a whole it is an awesome show. See the whole season, trust me you won't be disappointed.

The cast has been excellently chosen and fit the characters very very well. They act exactly as they should be and you actually feel each characters perspective in an issue.

I just hope the show does not loose its direction or get cancelled.
