Old (2021)
Interesting idea but bad execution
The idea of the movie basef on the graphic novel would have been good if the execution wasn't so bad. The acting and the dialogues were so terrible, they totally ruined the movie.
Dune (2021)
A movie for the big screens
Already went to the cinema twice to watch it, I just loved it. The cinematography, the music, the atmosphere - this is the kind of movie made for cinemas - top notch 👍🏻
Nihon Chinbotsu 2020 (2020)
Has some good and some bad moments
At the beginning I was like, ok, this is interesting and has a lot of potential, by the middle I thought what the heck is this turning into and by the end I was crying like a baby.
So overall there were bad moments but also really emotional ones and that's the most important for me personally, in the end, it made me feel something.
The Old Guard (2020)
Another disappointing Netflix movie
How come Netflix produces such great tv shows but when it comes to movies it's always disappointing... I don't get it.
This movie had so much potential and a good cast but was poorly executed. So much doesn't make sense, it feels generic, bad dialogues, strange editing, awful choice of music. Overall I was bored, didn't feel a thing for the characters.
Sad, cause it had potential...
Doctor Sleep (2019)
Doctor Sleep - perfect title, I did fall asleep
Sadly a disappointing sequel. I watched the Director's Cut and had to try it twice because I fell asleep the first time, almost fell asleep again on the second run. SHINING is a great classic and I can still watch it and enjoy it after so many years. This one was just ok, but I know for sure I'm never gonna watch it again (unless I need something to help me fall asleep).
Game of Thrones: The Last of the Starks (2019)
It's all about the journey
I don't get all the hate. For me the episode was a solid 7. The game is back on, the show is called "Game of Thrones" after all. What I also learned from most of my favourite shows in all those years (like Breaking Bad, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy and many more) is that what was special and so good about all those shows was the journey and not the actual ending. I honestly disliked almost all endings, but the journey there was amazing. And for me it's also true for this one.
