The Shia Voice (2022)
Evolution for Muslim Media
A very well hosted show that continually gives respect to its contestants, proudly displays its modest Shia culture, and never forgets who or why they are participating.. to remember the Ahlul-Bayt and Allah swt. May Allah give this production team all the success! Instead of watching random people sing or doing some random talents in other shows on TV, Muslims should be watching this, regardless of their sect. Whether you agree or disagree with Shia school of thought - but you should know that these guys aren't showing anything else except Quran recitation, Nauha (eulogy), and speeches/lectures. This is the reality TV to watch, for all Muslims globally.
Shikara (2020)
LOL at the hate, this movie was amazing!
Contrary to all these people who have commented, me being a Muslim: actually felt the pain for Kashmiri Pandits after watching this movie. I didn't know the kind of impact this terrorism had on their normal lives. It was also sad to see how neither governments (India or Pakistan) did anything to protect the people. Chopra shows how its important for good leaders to unite people - not divide them in the name of politics while using religion and terrorism as an excuse. Truly tragic tale, the love story to me was just a segway into a normal life. I'm sure there were dozens of scarier events that occurred on the night when all innocent lives were taken, raped, murdered.. nothing can justify it. But, I think the point is that life must move on. What is really needed by the Pandits to move on from this? Should Indian govt kill all Muslims of the world? The only way to move away from the pain is to move on. You can't continue living and expecting people to understand your pain while hating against an extremist part of community.
Space Force (2020)
Honestly, its not that bad!
I think some critics are being very harsh on it. It's got its own attitude and humor. Should give it a try tbh!
Simulation (2019)
Honest review
For being a low budget movie and not backed by billions of dollars- I feel the movie was intriguing. It kept me curious, the graphics were top notch, the sets were great, the music was moving and the environments felt real.
Some areas where improvements may be needed:
1. Story telling- narration through the plot may be useful - as sometimes I was confused as to what was going on.
2. Acting- sometimes the actors needed more depth in their expressions.
3. Plot- I kind of didn't understand the final plot due to the introduction of the new character, but it could be my interpretation of it.
Overall a great effort and I look forward to the feature film!
