Tikit (2024)
Okish storyline with a little flavor of karma and mystery
If you need some gripping crime mystery to dive into when boredom strikes, I recommend delving into one of Vicky Zahed's web series. This particular narrative revolves around a group of diverse passengers journeying towards a destination, their lives intertwining in unexpected ways. While Siam's performance is commendable, it's the portrayal of the character known as "the Poet" (whose real name escapes me) that truly shines with brilliance. However, one downside to note is the excessive use of slang throughout the series.
Safa's enigmatic demeanor adds depth to the storyline, though at times it may feel slightly contrived. Nevertheless, the narrative flows smoothly, guiding viewers along an intriguing course. The last two episodes deliver jaw-dropping plot twists that defy anticipation, although there are a few unresolved plot holes that may leave some questions lingering.
Despite its flaws, this series prompts contemplation on themes of life, love, women, and karma. It's a definite must-watch for those seeking both entertainment and introspection.
Kaiser (2022)
Amazing work but slow storyline
This is, in my opinion, one of the best Bangla web series I have ever seen. The acting was outstanding. Most of the time, the conversation flowed so naturally with the story that it was difficult to look away from the screen. You are captivated to the screen because of the thriller, the tension, and the plot. The conversations were somewhat informal and appeared to be well-integrated. But the film's plot moves slowly. Notably, there are numerous pointless scenes present. Additionally, the plot has little to do with the DB officer's game addiction. Almost every single actor did a great acting. Although it is a normal detective story, the narration makes it interesting. I must laud the debate because its director is very intelligent and has the capacity to persuade a sophisticated mind. Amazing show, indeed. For those looking to watch a top-notch mystery/thriller combination with tense dialogue delivery, I heartily recommend it.
Koshtoneer (2021)
Beautiful Drama in the context of Bangladesh.
The most vital part of this drama was its characterization and story building. Here, Mr Tarique Anom Khan characterizes rigidity, & aristocracy; Ms Saberi Alom sobriety & modesty; Mr Shyamol Mawla leftist ideology; Ms Runa Khan & Mr Sayed Babu kindheartedness and simplicity, while Mr Yash Rohan characterizes a kind of misguided faith. And, yes, Ms. Sabila Nur portrays a strong independent woman. Here the drama shows despite having different ideologies, dreams, and mindsets, all can collectively make a roof peaceful. Just a little love, respect, and understanding are required to convert a Kostoneer(Pain - house) to a Shantirneer (sweet home).
