This has some funny 1 liners. Id pretty much guessed the final hero's from beginning. I wasnt sure how it would go going into this or if ive seen it before as i can remember watching a film b4 about monsters attacking a bar that had been bad. This starts off taking the piss out of certain movies or certain styles directors are used and there are some comical bits I hoped after laughing at a few things i was in for a fun time but it all feels flat when the monsters turn up. It lowers the film boring cheap quickly. Picks up again at the end. And has the usually saved at sunrise cinematography....

As someone else pointed out the beggining , well wherd we first see the Master. First giving a lady tongue action before pillaging his way through a loud of scummy men is the highlight of the movie. It was that part had me intrigued to keep watching . But listening to the actor forgot his name and sidekick baldwin at first talk about and trear women tge way they did was vile & im not a feminist but the guy is a straight up dick who i just wanted to die & the vampire win right from them leaving the club at beggining. Unfortunately it didnt happen. And they mafe the Master seem weaker as the film went on. Shame as it started good.

Just fastforward go the last 20 minutes and even then the last 10 min is a drag.. i rewound the beginning of this film 5 times ans was still so uninspired i missed how the sandersons ate resurrected luckily this was kinda explained mid way... The only thing going for this film really is i had wondered after so many decades they would make tge sisters still look the same age. I didnt think theyd pull it off but truth be told they did a marvelous job on the 2 older sisters in fact They actually looked younger than the first... but my oh my.. whoever did SJP make up did not do a good job.. conventionally SJP has never beeen veey pretty but in the first hocus pocus she was gorgeous in this she looks haggered !!! And by far the oldest of the 3... overall this was a bore dont believe that 7 rating if you look at the circle arrow at tge side thats either green and up or red and down ( which means it sucks) its clearly down.. maybe watch it anyway with the kids but chances are they wont be impressed either.. for me the on good sequel of the yeae was ORPHAN first kill. This was not good but i went into it with low expectations by todays standards so not dissappointed.

I have a feeling a lot who were teenagers when this came out will be watching it today due to Coolios passing. I have tp admit out of This type of 90s type school Genre it wasnt my favourite at the time , 187 with Samuel Jackson was. However this film was iconic more at the time because of the awesome soundtrack song by Coolio Gangsters paradise. I have just rewatched it and found I loved it a lot more than I did back then, The nostalia for styling everyone has their own individual looks. Unlike the clones today. The troubled kids are likeable. Their acting is goid enough, the story is smooth to past the time and as always Michelle phieffer shines. Her emotional tears are so genuine. She reminded me of myself when im genuinely upset.. I only wish this film ended with her taking tge scumbag principals eother head off or his job.

Entertaining enough pass time films. Drea was great actress. The girl from SS was kinda annoying. And playing gay again so im guessing shes gay in real life, i dont kniw for definete jist a guess but would've been nice see something else. I like her stranger things character and at first i was finding i woukd in this but just found her icky midway amd towards the end.. maybe i should blame wardrobe lol. Noticed the end song was stole of one my favourite past movie end songs also. Theyve definitely tried to recreate a not far past era which was nice. Seeing as they know most people recognise the 80s 90s as the best for films etc and so many attempts are being done on our 80s. A lot fail but some have been succedded so was nice to see tgem try revive a little later decade. I was filled with joy with the suprise of Sarah michelle Gellar coming on my screen. I still watch Buffy daily. She was a great actress and was filled with Nostalgia seeing her grace the screens again..shes still beautiful 💜💜

Loved it as a 80s child & still love it at 41 years old.. Cara is gorgeous, selena the witch was a great advisory & her pal had warm humour.. the effects are great and still hold up to this day. Especially when cara first sees she can flight. The visual far surpass all the nauseating constant CGI we love with now. This is a real comic book masterpiece. The phantom zone scenes were always epic for me. A wonderful movie just as good for me as Reeves superman movies.. These guys were my heros and role models as a child & what great examples to follow they were unlike toady. Blessed to have grown up in the 80s with such goodness and enjoyment films. Why this and the reeves superman get such low scores now is beyond me seeing all tge 💩 they churn out now which gets ridiculous high ratings.. I ll stick with tge Golden oldies.

Ive not managed to complete the movie its put me to sleep twice in the first 50minutes. Its literally so boring theyre dragging tge story out. Dont know whether to try finish its other hour today or not as i dont get the vibe anythings actually going to happen.
After reading other low reviews whicj say what happens im not wasting my time finishing it. Its a cheap look made for tv bad boring movie with poor acting. Fir the first hour that tells me enough.

Ive been wondering how this film would turn out as so many horror movies are utter trash these days and they're always doing remakes and ruining classics.. Orphan when it first came out was great and I wondered how theyd be able to do a prequel and make it exciting, well they did it i actual cheered a few times... Yes as others have stated the girl who plays Esther is older now and it does show though she still looks really young in some scenes depending on light, im glad they used the same actress amd just let us in our own minds try go with the flow and pretend this is suppose be her just a bit younger & it really works.. The story and acting are all great. When it first started thought it was gonna be a 6 and there is a drag point but then it really picks up with unpredictability. Because of this even though the movie is 7 or 7.5 was tempted to give it a 8, because it actually suprised me which with all the cr@@p releases these days had me thrilled .. I actually could rewatch it again right away. Nearly as good as the first.. might I just add Julia styles has grown so much more beautiful with age she looked like a young Catherine Zeta Jones. She was superb in this .. i do agree with others though esther couldve toned down the accent. She is a genius after all.
