Summer of Blood (2014)
What did I just watch?
Nothing happens for the first 30 minutes. Then something happens. Then nothing happens for the rest of the movie.
You know how people say that's the worst movie I've ever seen? Well this isn't that. This movie is just boring. There is way too much dialogue, way way too much. It's also not funny. Even worse, I am inclined to say it's not a horror movie. It's this guy (bleeping) off in a bathroom to a fantasy of making a comedy horror and then doing neither.
Ghoulies (1984)
Horrible
It's first off not scary. Nothing actually happens. There is way too much talking where nothing is said. There's too much action has no point. The mansion isn't even all that creepy it's just old. And it makes no sense what so ever that Jonathan inherits it at age 25. Seriously I can't get past that it took 25 years after his father died for him to inherit. So there is nothing to see here and no reason for the plot to exist.
Quarantine L.A. (2013)
I got up to the second car
I don't know if I can finish watching this. So two characters come across a car and they intend to use the gas in it. No I don't know why they don't just take the car. So they get gas out of this car after killing the zombie in it and freeing the girl friend. No I don't know why she was bound and her mouth taped shut. So they run out of gas by another car. Do they check for gas? No they do not, they just get out of their vehicle and walk. Yeah right past possible zombies who may or may not become bitey at any minute.
Some Guy Who Kills People (2011)
Two Scoops of Terror!!!!
Just kidding, this is not a horror movie. It's a comedy with some murder thrown in to create some tension. It's not scary, one part in particular leads to some edge of the seat action, but in a movie where some guy who kills people is running around like a maniac it's to be expected. If you took out the kill scenes this would be a beautiful family film. Profanity is minimal, no nudity, the violent scenes are short. The most disturbing scenes are actually the flashbacks. I went in expecting a horror movie and wasn't disappointed that it turned into a Hallmark movie.
