Five Feet Apart (2019)
Smile and nod with tears in your eyes.
I am not a fan of rom coms AT ALL but for some reason this film caught my attention I am glad it did. Due to its genre it is relatively predictable, but that doesnt take away from the awesome acting from every single cast member. Realistic from start to finish with decent CF representation and an ending that makes you smile and nod with tears in your eyes.
Fight Club (1999)
I study philosophy but this film took me for a ride
I watched the first hour and a half of this movie when I was 16 before I asked my boyfriend to turn it off because it was too dark. Now I am in my early 20s and I watched it until the very end, credits and all, and it truly is the best thing I've ever watched. I'm obsessed and I cant wait to watch it again. I reckon it will hit me even harder when I am older and I'm sure it will be just as fantastic.
Everything from the plot, the acting, even the damn lighting of every scene is art. I cannot believe I was not pushed to rewatch it sooner. I writing this as 1am because I cant stop thinking about it. It will seep into my dreams and I'm not sure if that is terrifying or thrilling. Maybe both
Focus (2015)
Better then expected
I liked the acting in this film better then I thought I would; they have a surprisingly good chemistry that I didnt see in Suicide Squad. Pretty good twists and just the right of excitement for a film that is easy watching in the best way
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Enjoyable but not a favourite
Everything that makes this movie enjoyable (the characters, the almost over acting and the way it is shot particularly) is also what stops it from being a staple favourite. I remember feeling engaged, laughing occasionally and feeling the tension, yet I dont remember any details of the film or its plot and I only watched it yesterday. This usually indicates that I enjoyed the film for its duration but not much longer afterwards. Would probably recommend to a fan of the genre however
