The Killer (2023)
Expected more from Fincher
I had higher expectations for Fincher's latest movie, given his reputation for creating unique and thrilling stories. However, I found the plot to be rather predictable and not as innovative as some of his previous works such as "Fight Club", "Gone Girl", and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button".
While the movie did contain some elements of Fincher's signature style, such as the tense and anxiety-inducing atmosphere, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of originality. It seemed similar to "The Accountant 2016".
Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the film, and the Michael Fassbender performance but My expectations were higher. I assigned this rating because I believe that Fincher is capable of creating better and more impressive works.
The Office: Finale (2013)
Not just an American workplace
I was going to rate this episode 9 because of how poorly the return of Michael was pictured. Daryl had lots of dialogs but the guy who was the heart of the TV show just spoke 3 or 4 dialogs? We all waited so long to hear his stories...
But in general, how it ended was fascinating just like Michael Scott said:
"I feel like all my kids grew up and then they married each other."
It might be an unpopular opinion but I enjoyed Michael's romance more than Jim and Pam's. Jim could work anywhere he wanted in Scranton but what about Michael? He spent most of his life in that office, Just Remember his old photo with Tad Packer. When he was about to leave he cried. It was showing that this wasn't just a paper company for him after all. He always insisted that we are not co-workers, we are family. He left all that behind for his true love. It was lovely the moment he called Holly to tell her he couldn't come but when heard her funny voice, all the tears turned into joy and he laughed. He had no doubts about going with her and leaving all behind. If you know Michael you get what I'm saying.
Another favorite part of the TV show for me was seeing Dwight becoming the manager. He deserved it.
Two remarkable and unforgettable characters that you will never see like them again.
This was the second time I watched this TV show and what can I say I enjoyed it. I just wish I could see more about Michael and Holly these two living happily together.
Sons of Anarchy: A Mother's Work (2013)
Loyalty and Loss
We have all seen a lot of death so far, good and bad came and gone. Opie's death was really sad (and others too), but this episode carries a lot of pain and sadness. It makes you feel it in your bones. Probably one of the saddest episodes in history.
Some might hate Tara for what she was trying to do but she was just a mother trying to protect his kids and had nothing but love for them.
This episode was good despite all the tragedies walked through. Because an image of Sons of Anarchy was engraved in your mind and you will never forget the reaper and the cut which shows how well the TV show was made. Also, it set up a strong background for the next season, making the viewer eager to continue through the anger and frustration.
Katey Sagal created one of the most hated characters and you watch season 7 desperately with anger so that she meet Mr Mayhem like Clay.
We all miss the times when Tara and Jax were together and just simply loved each other.
Verdens verste menneske (2021)
A different love story
A bit different from cliché love stories or better say more realistic that almost touched the real life. Making it in chapter to chapter and showing each chapter as the revolutions in a person's life (You may have experienced them too), was like reading someone's diary. The movie shows aspects of life that may you haven't experienced yet but feel it or least sympathy with them or become happy and sad; it all happened because of the story and acting. Good color balanced depicts spectacular shots that will be unforgettable. It is in this way that the director conveys the feelings to you, just by looking at the color and shot, you will get the feeling of cold or warm at the right moment of the story.
Peaky Blinders: Lock and Key (2022)
Good ending for shelby's
A very good ending for a 9-year series. By the death of Helen McCrory, a lot of people were wondering what will happen to the story. A lot of people(including me) didn't believe that they were going to make it Because of the absence of Aunt Polly -one of the most important characters. And all the time they keep us waiting turns out not to be wasted. The ending was great and they did a good job.
