When Disney CEO Bob Iger first stated this during his first presentation to the company's board of directors, he was emphasizing how much of a backbone what has since been renamed to Walt Disney Animation Studios has been to them over the past century. This short is the perfect point of reference to what he was talking about. Featuring characters from all of its feature films and lesser known ones that made the most sense of being there, every non-cynical viewer that watches this short is gonna end up finishing it being very happy. A perfect tribute to the artists, the workers, and all the storytellers that've been a part of the studio throughout the years, this was the only way that they could fully thank them for creating what is hopefully something that'll last into the next millennium. These people may not live forever, but these characters will, and that's gonna be their legacy, as well as the legacy of The Walt Disney Company as a whole.
