Horizon Line (2020)
Funny. Not bad.
So many "Yeah right" moments while watching a discount Brad Pitt circa WWZ era and discount Amber Heard. Like, that booze was fuel? Was she trying to sabotage that wedding they were flying to? Not bad for an indi-film. Good for some laughs with your significant other on a night in :D.
Army of the Dead (2021)
Go back to fighting for a belt in your underwear.
I've been stuck in isolation and I'm desperate for more to watch these days. This feels like I'm stuck in a corner with nothing but this. Why does Bautista think he can act? Go back to fighting for a belt in your underwear.
The Girl with All the Gifts (2016)
The Last of Us
Same premise as the video game right down to the "clicking" sound they make. Even how the bodies mutate into fungal floral stuff. I guess if you haven't played the video game first it's good but not as good with the slight altercations of factors storyline wise.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Wow
I felt compelled to get in here and reach out to say he really deserves an Oscar and all that buzz. Great job out of nowhere dude!
Doom: Annihilation (2019)
I couldn't smoke enough
I give everything with negitive reviews a chance but dammmn. They are right.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (2008)
Still playing this.
I discovered I missed out on C&C 3 and 4. I go online and WOW! Every game and expansion for $10!! The third was good but the fourth was a BIG disappointment! I found myself going back to the older games I remembered and I am stuck between RA2 and RA3. These games still got me playing all day unintentionally because they are so fun. I'm my top 10 games for sure :)
Us (2019)
Don't Bother Even On a Rainy Day...
I signed up just to review this movie. Too much hype over who the director was and I think Lupita N'yongo is overrated in any movie she's in. As most reviews the build up is good until the doppelgängers start talking. At the end I had to read the synopsis on IMDB just to understand exactly what I had just watched. I understood the twist at the end and started asking questions like " If there's billions of humans above ground, how are there the equivalent of doppelgängers underground without ever being noticed?". What started as something like "The Strangers" ended up being worse.
