fulfilled expectations
14 March 2008
I had the opportunity to see the 'opening' of MY NAME IS BRUCE at East Lansing Film Festival. Bruce Campbell was in attendance. The opening of the movie had a comedic start and like expected continued throughout the film. With special appearances from Ted Raimi, Bruce and other characters demonstrated a creative concept of comedy and horror. Bruce and Raimi both provided their fans with laughs particularly for the fans. Bruce proceeded the film with questions and amazing answers. He was quick, humorous, and sarcastic at times. Overall the movie and Bruce's appearance completed my night with the great expectations of the film although I wish I could have given Bruce 'some sugar baby'.

The most impressive newer horror movie I've seen
8 October 2006
The birth and development of Leatherface could not have been better planned out. The story seems to tie in closely with the original from 1974. The film is classically by viewed and not overdone with computer generated scenes. The characters are true in giving the feeling of strange, solitude behavior. Lee Ermey's character as Sheriff Hoyt portrays the epitome of evil through out the film. The gore is impressive and the use of Leather's tools are just as diverse as the original. The movie is intense from the start, leaving one unexpected just as Tobe Hooper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974. This film is the most impressive newer horror movies I've seen in many years.

The Simpsons - is there any better show?
14 May 2006
With all my collection of video tapes and d.v.d.s I seem to find myself digging through my Simpsons box, when I need something to watch. It would be hard to pick a favorite episode, because of so many. It would be even harder to pick a least favorite because there is very few that could be less appealing. But boring is one thing that the Simpsons could never be considered. The writers have changed ideas, episode structure, and kept the Simpsons on a continuous exciting adventure. Anytime of the day or no matter what seems to be the mood , the Simpsons is always satisfying to to view even over and over and hours on end.
