Best Christmas Movie
24 December 2021
Words cannot describe how much I love this movie. There isn't anything to not love. Don't even get me started on the soundtrack. *chefs kiss* I may be biased because this movie triggers a lot of happy childhood memories for me around Christmas time and makes me feel like that kid who wholeheartedly believed in Santa again, but if you STILL haven't seen it... here's me saying to do it.

Unique
27 September 2021
The movie had an interesting plot-line.

At the start it felt like I was watching a sci-fi movie that involved some sort of aliens, but later turned into a slasher type movie. I went into the movie blind, only having seen the trailer and my expectations were far from what the movie actually was. The acting wasn't great. There were multiple scenes where dramatic music was cued or the main character would let out screams that just felt out of place for the context of the scene.

It was a unique movie I'll give it that, but not very scary. It had a fair share of plot twists, but the rest of the movie was pretty predictable. If you're not in the whole gore scene, I wouldn't watch this movie as it definitely got pretty morbid at some points lol.

Overall it was an okay movie, but I wouldn't watch it again. Points for creativity, though.

I'm sorry but what?
23 July 2021
This doesn't even feel like American Horror story. I've only watched the first 2 episodes and every thing about it was so clichè. The acting wasn't bad but the dialogue was awkward and some of the scenes were so bad it literally had me cringing. I've heard the third episode is better so I just HOPE this show redeems itself because I had such high hopes for it since AHS is so good!

Beautiful

Warning: Spoilers
The main message of this movie was that it's the little things in life ... and the moment he found that out moved me to tears. The animation and art style is also incredible. There were a few moments here and there that made me giggle which I always love. Definitely a Pixar movie that lived up to its expectations!

Good As It's Own Thing
15 December 2020
It's a good movie on its own when not comparing it to the original, although I was a little bummed to find out that Mushu the dragon, the cricket, Li Shang, AND the music wasn't put in it but the execution wasn't bad. I'd say give it a shot but don't have expectations that it's going to be exactly like the original movie.

This is easily the weirdest but equally entertaining show I've ever seen. The first time I watched it I was so genuinely confused but now being on season 2 you get more used to the style and I don't know, it's just surprisingly good. If you're looking for a laugh or honestly just something to watch when you're bored I highly recommend this show!

Rushed

Warning: Spoilers
I feel like they tried so hard to fit all of the plots in the book that it just seemed way too scrambled. They barely mentioned the conflict with Tessa going to Seattle, and Hardin "leaving" barely even felt like he left at all. This entire movie consisted of them being broken up, getting together, breaking up, and then getting back together again. The books were so good and I feel like the movie could've ben good too if they weren't trying to fit all the elements of the book into an hour and a half. Overall it was an okay movie.

I loved it

I don't understand why so many people are rating this poorly? It definitely had its creepy moments and honestly, I enjoyed this storyline more than the last version! I think people need to stop comparing it to the first season and rate it as it's own thing. Please do not listen to the bad reviews and give it a go!

Decent

Personally, I really liked the movie. I thought the cast was pretty well done in accordance for their child versions. I will say the movie didn't scare me so much as the special effects seemed to be a lot of CGI and in a way reminded me of the Goosebumps movies. But, there were a few creepy scenes such as the old lady smiling at Beverly and the way she shuffled out of the corridor. I found the most subtle scenes were the creepiest. I did enjoy the flashbacks to the kids because it gave the viewers a nostalgic feeling for a childhood that they never even had and really added the the reconnection of the Losers. Also the movie made me laugh quite a few times which was a reason I liked the first movie so much! Comedic relief is always important. The first movie was definitely better than the second, but I enjoyed both and I'm sad to know the movie is officially over!

Amazing Trilogy
9 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I felt like I've been along with Hiccup in his journey ever since finding Toothless, and I cried so many times during this movie. I felt connected to Toothless and the ending of this movie where we get to see Hiccup grown up as a Dad, and then reconnecting with Toothless years later after letting the dragons go was incredibly emotional and bittersweet.

A great series. I am so glad all three movies were equally amazing because that's not something that happens often!

Not the Best Game
6 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Personally, I wasn't very fond of this game. When I first bought it, I was beyond excited because of course Until Dawn was absolutely amazing so those were the expectations I had set for this game, but... The entire game was just incredibly forced. The characters lines were awkward at points and predictable. The movement of the players was very sloppy and not very smooth, mostly just annoying. The storyline seemed to have a lot of potential but didn't add up to what it could have been. I really enjoyed the boat scene when we were meeting all of the characters, and when they explored the plane under water. It was very mysterious and intriguing but I think what ruined it was the kidnapping scene and the fact that the entire game is located on one huge ship where everything looks the same. It would've been cooler if they happened to possibly stumble upon it after some cruising and had taken the time to get to know the characters rather than being taken there within the first so-so minutes of the game. Also, if Connor dies, over an hour of gameplay is lost and the story never truly explains itself . if you play for an entire 4 hours only to finish wondering what was going on the entire time.

Now don't get me wrong; the graphics of the game are absolutely amazing as they were in Until Dawn, I just think the difference between Until Dawn and Man of Medan is that the story line didn't seem to grasp the attention of players and everything was too predictable and cliché. I also don't think the 'picture frame' mechanic worked the same way or as well as it did with the totems in Until Dawn. It felt pretty unimportant to look at and didn't give that "omg. how do I prevent this?" type of worry as it should have.

Man of Medan had a lot of potential and the talent is 100% there, I just think it lacked good actors, a decent story line, and smoother game mechanics. I could definitely see more amazing games to come from these creators, this sadly just wasn't it.

The Worst Yet
22 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This entire movie was full of clichés. Every frame was someone slowly moving their hands or feet toward something spooky and then BAM! A completely EXPECTED jump scare. There was hardly any plot at all. The kid was getting bullied because the public thought Ed and Loraine were frauds, then they left their daughter and babysitters for an entire night and the entire house went crazy and then suddenly, it's all over. The girl gets the guy, the girl stops being bullied, yadayada. & what was even with that ware wolf and the boy who had like 2 awkward lines? It just felt so messy. It literally felt like that movie Goosebumps, just with a darker atmosphere. I liked Annabelle Creation so this was a major let down especially since all The Conjuring movies were so good. :(

Worth the Watch
2 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
It started off very light and comedic, and then suddenly I was crying. I was upset that the two main characters didn't kiss or form a deeper connection than friends before she passed away because it felt like it was leading up to that and they were so cute when together, but at the same time I'm glad the movie strayed away from clichès and it made the ending even more sad thinking of what could have been if she hadn't been ill :( Maisie and Asa played their parts perfectly and overall it's a movie I would definitely recommend!

It's So Bad It's Good
15 May 2019
I feel like if you're an adult who watched this as a child, (not an adult watching this for the first time,) then you shouldn't be giving it a bad review. Watching this movie when I'm now 19, yes, I have realized how bad it is lmao. BUT it's iconic and hilarious and has a lot of nostalgia factors from when I watched this so many times when I was younger. I still really love this movie and the cringe worthy jokes and random adult jokes that come with it. If you still haven't seen it, I'd say go into watching it expecting it to be ridiculous because that's just what it is but it fits so perfectly.

What?
25 April 2019
I was totally invested for a good bit, and I had just starting to get into it and then suddenly it was over? I literally said out loud without realizing it: "that's the end?" It was basically just filled with dramatic scenes with music playing to pass the time, and a couple love scenes. Like I said I was starting to get into it because it seemed like it had a lot of potential from the trailer, but then it was just suddenly over. Disappointed.

A Movie for Preteens
19 April 2019
This is the type of movie you'd like if you're a preteen. It's incredibly corny and the acting is not the best. Also, maybe a former Viner / Instagram comedian shouldn't have been casted. AKA Brent Rivera. It had potential but a lot of the dialogue just makes me want to scream at the tv and the plot honestly just doesn't make sense a lot of the time. The only reason I gave it a shot was because I had nothing better to watch, but turns out there are much better things to click on instead rather than this show :)

Just Boring
15 April 2019
I tried watching this movie thinking maybe it'll have some potential, and even with my expectations set so LOW, I still couldn't get through the movie. I got bored about half way into it and had enough of the cringeworthy scenes and boring plot. Don't waste your time watching this movie unless you're really looking for something to pass the time lol

Good But Not Amazing
8 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I thought the movie was very cool. It was interesting to see aspects of the real world put into an animation film. I also thought it was interesting to see different characters from other animated movies combined into this one. Excluding the first movie I think this movie was very entertaining and full of action. However, when comparing it to the first movie, this one seems a bit dull? Don't get me wrong, it had a lot of good moments but I just feel as though so much happened yet nothing happened at all? It's always hard to create a second movie when the first one did so good because everyone is automatically going to compare to see if the next one is up to par and does just as well if not better. The story line was based off of the fact that the steering wheel of the game broke and they went on a mission to get it back, but it mainly ended up just being all about the toxic friendship both Venelope and Ralph have. Not a horrible concept, I just think the movie could've added more depth into other things like what was going on back in the arcade with the other characters. All in all I did enjoy the movie and it was a unique idea and the animation was incredible! I would recommend seeing it, just keep your expectations a tad lower!
