What the he** is this crap!
26 April 2003
Okay Home Alone 1 & 2 were really good. Home Alone 3 isn't worth watching but Home Alone 4.........well it is just piece crap!!! I can't believe there would ever be a 4th installment of Home Alone. Even though Macauley Culkin is too old to portray Kevin now they could have picked an older actor. Like someone in his early teens. Kevin is still 9 more than 10 years later. Also whatever happened Kevin's other brother and sister? In this movie there are only 3 kids and there are originally 5 kids in the first two movies. Let's just hope there are no plans for Home Alone 5 any time soon. Too many holes in the plot as well makes this a bad movie. I give it a 0 out of 10.

No need to take a sleeping pill....just watch this movie!
8 April 2003
Hey if you can't get to sleep, just watch the Amityville Horror. It works better than a sleeping pill! This has to be the slowest 118 minutes I have ever endured in my life. Heck I would rather I have a root canal! Nothing in this movie is scary from the swarming flies to the bleeding walls. This movie isn't what you call a horror, it is just plain horrible!!! Watch this movie and you will off in la la land in no time!!!

Polka Dot Door (1971–2000)
You call this a show for kids?
7 April 2003
You call this a show for kids? The Polka Dot Door was one of the worst kids shows ever made. Not to mention it is Canadian. There are no kids on this show what so ever. Just two adult hosts, one male and one female who made complete fools out of themselves. They talk to stuffed animals, like they are supposed to talk back. Only the female host saw the Polkaroo.......hello it is the male host dressed up. Listen carefully to the Polkaroo's voice!!! I caught on at a very young age. Any parents out there whose children talk to their stuffed animals, a word of advice, don't let your kids watch this show!!!! And that that awful song that they would sing called "Imagine". I can still here that song 25 years later in my head. Where are my ear plugs when I need them??!!!!

Trailer Park Boys (2001–2018)
Trailer Trash!
24 February 2003
I have watch several episodes of the Trailer Park Boys and the show is a joke. Is Ricky really that stupid that he has to sit with a bunch of third graders?! What's up with Bubbles' ultra thick glasses?! It really gives new meaning to the phrase "Trailer Trash". What is even more insulting is that this show is Canadian. There are many other Canadian shows out there that are much better!

Over the Edge (1979)
Not bad for being Matt Dillon's first movie
18 February 2003
Warning: Spoilers
Over the Edge is a good movie about teenage rebellion. The movie is realistic of bored teens back in 1979 and now in 2003. I think any teen who is going through a rebellious stage can relate to this movie. For a movie that is 24 years old it doesn't seem outdated. It is also the first movie for Matt Dillon who portrays Richie White. He does a good job but I think his character was killed off a bit too soon in the movie. When the movie takes a serious turn his character is no longer there. Oh well it is his first movie so I shouldn't complain. The movie also has a great sound track featuring music by The Cars, Cheap Trick, Van Halen, The Ramones and Jimi Hendrix

Eight Is Enough (1977–1981)
One of the best shows from the late 1970's
18 February 2003
Eight is Enough was one of the best shows from the late 1970's and early 1980's. It was considered a dramedy. It had drama because the show could be serious at times but it also had comedy because the show was funny and it had a laugh track. Eight is Enough is now seen in reruns on CTS up here in Canada and I am happy about that. I had a major crush on Willie Aames (Tommy Bradford) when I was younger. Too bad there aren't many T.V. shows on now like this. Those were the good old days of television!

After a 10 year absence, it's nice to see Degrassi again
12 March 2002
After Degrassi High went off the air in 1991, I thought it would be the end of a great Canadian series forever. But in October 2001 I was so happy to see Degrassi The Next Generation.

Of course I have compared it too the original show and I like it even though the new series does not take place in a real school as the original series did. It's nice to see some of the original cast members like Mr. Raditch and Snake (with less hair this time around!)

Bryan Adams: Reckless (1984 Video)
Bryan Adams career breakthrough!
12 March 2002
I have owned this video since it was released back in 1984! Five of then 25 year old Bryan's breakthrough hits are included from his 1984 album Reckless and one from 1983's Cut's Like A Knife which is actually the album that made his music career take off! If you pay attention to the videos it's actually a story of Bryan finding an old girlfriend!

The greatest soap around!!!
6 April 2001
I started watching the Young and the Restless back in 1990 when I was 17. It was actually by accident, I was recovering on the couch after having my wisdom teeth taken out and my sister just happen to be watching the Y&R and back the David Kimble was stalking Nina from an apartment across the street. Well I guess you could say from that day on I became addicted. This is coming from someone who used to think that this show was nothing but garbage!!!!!

My favourite storyline to date is the Nick/Sharon/Matt one from 1994-96 and the current one. I miss the days when Matt was played by drop dead gorgeous Eddie Cibrian. Poor Nick ending up in jail.....again for a crime he didn't commit. Matt Clark had plastic surgery in order to get revenge against Nick and Sharon and is using the alias Carter Mills....and is now being played by Rick Hearst who is nearly 10 years older than Cibrian. I can't wait until Nick and Sharon learn Carter's real identity!!! Now that will be worth watching!!!!

South Park (1997– )
The best cartoon ever!!!! Rude, sick and just plain funny!!!
14 February 2001
South Park takes rude comedy to a new level. They don't post a warning at the beginning of the show for nothing. But I am an adult...so who cares about that warning!!! Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman rule. Mr. Hanky that talking piece of s**t is a riot....."HOWDY HO". South Park makes Beavis and Butthead look like a pair of saints. This cartoon has lots of swearing and death (Oh my God, they killed Kenny). How many times has that poor kid kicked the bucket....hey I lost count a long time ago.

That Canadian duo, Terence and Phillip rock. They just love to FART!!! They are just plain rude and very funny. I have been watching South Park right from the start. I never miss an episode. Good thing that it is going to be around for a while. Could a cartoon be any ruder, sicker or funnier.....probably. But it will never be as good as South Park.

The Flintstones (1960–1966)
The best cartoon of yesterday and today.
11 February 2001
The Flinstones debuted 13 years before I was born. I watched it a lot when I was young and I still don't get tired of seeing reruns more than 20 years later. I love the fact that this cartoon featured modern day gadgets such as the intercom, telephone, vacuum cleaner, phonograph and the car of course (Fred and Barney's feet sure must have hurt while putting on the brakes!!!!!) Mind you this takes place in the stone age. Go figure.

My favourite character was and still is Bam Bam. Wow it must be great having the world's strongest baby for a son. The Great Gazoo was another favourite. The fact the only Fred, Barney and children could only see him was hilarious.
