Phenomenon (1996)
inspirational
This film has incredible similarities to the life of Jesus. The disbelief and attitudes of his home town The deep and provocative discussions. The similarity of the Last Supper with John Travolta offering the apple to the children. The professor continuing Travolta's work. The paranoia of the state and their persecution of someone whose message was that we are all of the same thing and that NO-ONE is greater than the other.
Dogma (1999)
listen to the words, they really have a message!!
forget the violence and the trashy presentation.... the words have a real meaning and make you think about religions in general. I am surprised that the Roman Catholic Church has not had something to say about the constant criticism.
Storyboard: Woodentop (1983)
a rather dated but good introduction to Jim Carver and the Bill
The method of production is dated and not as refined as the series is now. Considering this pilot one wonders why the series took off at all.
The Cosby Show (1984)
Sitcom with "used to be funny man" Bill Cosby
This series was extremely racist against white people in that there was very little space made available for white actors. Most of the humour was from Bill Cosby, the rest of the actors and actresses unable to offer skill. The "children" were precocious and the storylines very tacky. Bill Cosby used to be a very entertaining sole performer whose public demise I am sure was a direct result of such series.
The Bill (1984)
A TV production's view of London Metropolitan Policing
The series has produced some fine actors over the years however, it is now becoming a "soap" and seems to be drifting away from the storylines that have made it into such a "must see" series. I think that it is now time for the series to finish before it becomes another "Coronation Street" or "Ramsay Street"
