Fast Sofa (2001)
Unique. In a good way.
This is such a strange film. It's not trying to cater to the entire audience, so I'm positive not everyone will like it. It's a love it or hate it.
I think it's good because it's not your everyday film. He feel weird and a little sick while watching the movie, just because of how the characters act. But everyone acts well, even Jennifer Tilly, who's acting bad on purpose.
Another scratch on the plus side is the very cool shot effects. They kind of move, and add extra scenes the parallel with whats going on. You'd have to see it to understand.
So, I give this movie a solid 7/10, maybe 7.5/10. Good flick, definitly give it a chance, at least.
SubUrbia (1996)
Utterly incredible.
Not in any way is this a comedy. It is a disturbing tale of love, growing up, and how people change. It's really a drama with some funny lines, but it's a beautiful film. The entire movie, well, really just the main character Jeff, spews truth with every line. I believe it should be mandatory everyone should see this.
Where Evil Lies (1995)
It's a porno. .
This movie was decent. Well, less than decent. It had an all right plot, selling white women into slavery. The movie could have gone to so many places with that plot, but chose to make it a porno.
It starts off with these women trying out for a strip club, but they were given drinks with something in them that knocks them out. So they're put in a cell with other girls. And thats where most of the movie takes place: them trying to get out. The rest is a lady stripping. If you have absolutly nothing else to see, and I mean nothing, rent this. But I waste my time again.
From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money (1999)
My hate for this stupid flick.
You know, some movies are just a waste of film. This was one of them. Let me list why this movie was pure c**p: 1. Crappy plot. I'll just leave it at that. 2. The killing of it's two biggest stars, Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) and Tiffani Amber-Theisen (Beverly Hills, 90210). 3. With the exception Robert Patrick (who is only exemped because of his roles in "The Faculty" and "Terminator II: Judgement Day"), everyone in this movie blew. 4. Stupid, stupid dialouge. ("I just dropped in for a quick bite" and "She sucked me dry"? Oh, please.) 5. Horrible special effects and make-up. A total disappoinment after FDTD number one. The list could go on and on, but I only have so many characters in my review. So, please please please please, for your own sake, don't waste your time and/or money with this total peice of monkey c**p. It's just not worth it.
The Thing (1982)
The Thing is one of the best things in the world
This is a great movie. That pretty much sums it up. It is so scary and it keeps you guessing and it has such a great plot. This movie scared the (p**p) out of me. The special effects are spectacular. John Carpenter is a genius. I love this movie. I give it a ten out ten. Rent this as soon as possible!!!
