Do not ignore the haters
24 December 2019
This movie is made by cowards for cowards. Not only does the final Star Wars movie ignore the work of the previous new trilogy movies, it completely wrecks a lot of the story created in the original trilogy and even the prequels. In a terribly messy attempt to placate angry fanboys, JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy have created such a monster that Star Wars will never be the same. Not a single one of the huge reveals and emotional moments is earned and despite some cool visuals, they leave you wondering how and why almost every time. Babu Frick is the one positive thing introduced by this movie, give him a spinoff show on Disney plus immediately.

Super fun and funny as hell
9 December 2018
This show is as loose as they come in the realm of cooking competition shows but that is definitely a good thing. Nicole Byer is wild and hilarious and Jacque is a master of patience watching people ruin these desserts. There is a point to the show too (besides handing out $10,000) and it's called HAVING A LAUGH. MOAR PLZ

The Walking Dead (2010–2022)
Stop Whining.
1 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I love the graphic novels. Kirkman is a great writer. There, I said it. Now I'll say this: this show isn't very good. If you like the comic, you'll be disappointed with the TV show. Not because of the changes (some good new characters and some brutal plot decisions) but because of the awful pacing and characterization. Sure they kill characters like in the books, its just that in the show you're happy they die so you don't have to hear their terrible crying all the time.

Also, heres a mistake: there is 1 badass in the show and it isn't Rick. (FYI it's Dennis) I'm still watching for now, but I don't see myself lasting past episode 4 or 5 if the show continues on this rickety path.

Day of the Dead (2008 Video)
2/10
Calling this a remake of Day of the Dead is like calling American Pie 4 a remake of Animal House.
26 November 2008
Beware! This poor excuse for a movie is neither a remake of George A. Romero's Day of the Dead, nor is it a sequel to the decent remake of Dawn of the Dead. Oh sure, people who like it and the director himself will tell you it's a remake of the classic, but not a single speck of the original remains. Instead, it is another "for dumb teens only" horror picture that lacks any real scares, is laden with awful clichés and ultimately fails because it bares the name and thus, seemingly tries to live up to the standards set by the infinitely better "original". The producers saw the opportunity to put a big name on a small (figuratively speaking) movie in efforts to grab some cash and did so without any regard for how it would effect the finished product.

This film is awful, make no mistake - but had it not set people up to see a remake of a classic it may have passed at least as a mildly entertaining failure as opposed to a total waste of time that is offensive to it's own genre. This is where you find the divide amongst IMDb forum users, horror/zombie fans who hate it and regular people who didn't seem to mind it. That being said, one quote from the message boards rings true for everyone, "Enjoy it all you want but this is NOT a good movie."

Forget what that other guy says.
24 December 2002
Super Troopers LOOKS stupid but came through in the clutch with solid laughs from this comedy team.

I'm not going to use some lame rating system like the other guy used but I will say this: IT IS BETTER THAN THOSE MOVIES HE MENTIONED.

Super Troopers combines solid physical comedy with surprisingly solid comedy writing. Its by no means a classic, but it is very worth sitting around with some friends, smacking a few beers and checking out this flick.

I was surprised by the hilarity of this movie, hopefully you will too.

Mission Hill (1999–2002)

don't be quick to dismiss
24 March 2002
producers bill oakley and josh weinstein really had something with this show, its too bad it didn't really go anywhere. while one user wrote that the show is "poorly animated" in order for one to appreciate the show, you must appreciate the style of animation rather than writing it off as poor. the use of unorthodox bright colours somewhat reminds me of the simpsons in its glory days, likewise does the style of facial animations used.

The style of comedy and writing of the show is where Mission Hill really shines however. It is a show that instead of chasing and trying to force you to laugh, it gets you with its charming characters and often subtle humour. Not to mention its unexpectedly bold jokes (not quite of the Oblongs variety, but not too far off)

In the end, Mission Hill is a funny, charming and sadly, short lived show that is worth a second look for animated sitcom fans everywhere.

Show Me Love (1998)
9/10
You will Love this movie.
2 February 2002
I just so happened to catch this wonderful movie on Showcase the other night. I must say, if someone told me to watch a Swedish movie about teenage lesbians I'd probably tell them to get out of my face and then probably call them a meatball or something. But I am just glad that I watched this film. It was so incredibly well acted, written and directed. You really can't help but fall in love with Elin AND Agnes; and once a movie can so easily manipulate such a strong emotion, you know it has to be good. I found myself talking to the television at tense moments in the movie. Also, I found myself with a moist eye or two during some tough scenes.

I am not really one for foreign films, or anything without at least a few fart jokes, but this movie blew my mind. To give you an example of my normal tastes, some other movies I love include: Star Wars, Waynes World, True Lies, A League of Their Own, Half Baked and Alien. Fucking Amal was so different than any of these movies you wouldn't think I would enjoy it. This shows just how good this movie is, it really appeals to anyone who has ever been a teenager. (You people who went straight to 20 after 12 are out of luck I guess)

In the end, its a fantastic movie with excellent acting by the two girls and I suggest it to absolutely everyone.

Otherwise Known as AIR??WHAT THE HELL!!!!??!

Terrible, just awful. A real travesty. I could have pulled a better script out of an outhouse. "Otherwise known as air." WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?!?

THANK YOU WE ALREADY KNOW YOU DUMB ASTRONAUT!!!

Everything about this movie was cheesy. From the CGI to the ultra predictable plot. DONT see it, if your still interested, RENT it at most. This is not worth $8!!!

NOT AT ALL!!!

thank you for reading.
