It is so good, that I often show it to my science students, There is much accuracy in the depictions. Each episode is filmed differently, yet they are all tied together quite well. Highly recommended.

Classic racing flick.

By actually following the formula 1 tour, the filmmakers were able to create a very realistic movie with all of the sound, tension, and the feel of a real race. Years later the great driver Jackie Stewart remarked about his major crash that year. He noticed that there was a helicopter overhead. He thought that rescue efforts had become advanced. Only later did he realize that he was being filmed for this movie. It is a classic racing movie showing what racing really was, not like today where advertiser placement is so important. No Jeff Gordon holding up a Pepsi after finishing a race. Must see!
