The show to watch?
19 September 2005
THIS show is the show to watch? It was terrible! If it lasts the season, it'll only be out of respect to Stockard Channing and Henry Winkler. Stockard Channing from Grease and West Wing, and Henry "the Fonz" Winkler had NO chemistry whatsoever as exes. For me to believe they hate each other now I have to believe they were in love with each other at some time in the past. The jokes were canned and the other actors were terrible. The total show was formulaic. And why is Jennifer Tilly there? All she needed to do to make her appearance typical was for her to drop her towel at the door. The whole two brothers eavesdropping in the kitchen was reminiscent of three's company. Overall, if this show is still on after thanksgiving it'll be a miracle.

Thank God I saw it for free

Okay, I'm not Matt Drudge, I'm not going to give away the ending. But I will say this. If you like movies that FORCE you to make leaps of faith as to what is going on, if you like trying to figure out why a "good" actor like Kris Kristoferson is in the movie for a total of 30 minutes, then this is your movie. If you know that remakes almost always stink and that your better off trying to get laid in a convent then this movie is not for you. Sorry, but if you can see it for free like I did, you'd still feel like you've wasted your time.

Holy Schnikeys BATMAN!!!

5/3/01 was the last day of Chicago's Latino Film Festival, and I spent the preceding month viewing a lot of excellent latino films. Now being a "mexican-american," and speaking both languages fluently I know that the majority of Mexican films are about mariachis and drug traffickers. So a good friend of mine told me we should go see this movie, "Amores perros ." He did not tell me it was a mexican movie, for if he had I would have missed the best movie I have seen in a very long time. This movie is incredible, the intensity, drama, and dialogue all flow so well. You must see this movie! If you have a problem with subtitled movies see it twice. Even if you don't have problems with subtitles, see it twice. This movie is a masterpiece. The first great movie of the twenty-first century!!

What was that all about?

Whoo, thank god it had an end, a bad one at that, but at least it ended. I was beginning to think I had died and was in purgatory, making amends for past sins, by having to sit through what is arguably the slowest moving movie I have seen in a very long time.

worst movie I have ever seen
28 January 2001
I think the subject line sums it up best. But what makes this movie really terrible is the fact that the story line is REALLY unbelievable. There is no character development, all of a sudden Sandra Bullock is in love with Liam Neeson, all of a sudden the two Columbians are Gay, and all of a sudden the therapy group is willing to help this guy. I don't think so...Stay away from this movie
