Deliria (1987)
A great suspenseful horror / thriller!
I was expecting A LOT less of this movie before I saw it but how wrong I could have been. 10 people get locked inside a theatre along with a complete nutter who's just escaped from the local nut-house. Cue some great scenes of suspense and violence, great soundtrack and cinematography, above average acting and a neat little twist at the end, and fans of this genre should definitely not be disappointed.
It's one of those movies where everybody (almost!) get picked off one after each other and in some sick way you appreciate it for this upfront, 'everyone is dead' attitude.
All in all, I give this an 8 as I really enjoyed it and if you like a good, suspenseful horror / thriller which never has a slow point throughout, then I definitely recommend you see this!

THE BEST MARTIAL ARTS FILM EVER MADE!
I'm not going to beat around the bush - this film is truly AWESOME. If you like martial arts, then look no further. If you don't, see it anyway - you'll be awe struck!
I'm not going to go on about the fact that there IS a storyline, Jet Li is just so cool when it comes to laying out anyone in his way, the great camera work and sound. Overall, just a superb martial arts flick with probably the best fight scenes you are likely to see.

Quella villa accanto al cimitero (1981)
My favourite Fulci film
Out of the horror films by Fulci which I own (The Beyond, City of the Living Dead and this one), this is definitely my favourite. As well as containing the most gore (I'm lucky to have an uncut version) it is also the most scary. There are plenty of moments which will make you jump and the overall images projected from the camera panning of the house in question adds to this, creating a tense and terrifying atmosphere. The murders are spot-on with plenty of blood and great effects which again add to the overall tension in the film. The storyline, though fairly thin, keeps things moving along at a quick pace to the abrupt ending which is typical of Fulci's other work. Overall, I make a point of watching this film regularly (with lights off!) as I think it is just a great horror flick. If you're a horror fan, see this! My score: 8/10.
