Da feng bo (1974)
Absolutely stupendous
There are no faults to this movie. None at all. I have asked on many an occasion for the greatest movie of all time, and this movie delivered just that. Great acting, directing, and the story line rivalled the ususal suspects. You can not ask for more than this concerning cinematic entertainment.
Blow (2001)
I have Never felt sorry for a drug dealer before
I really enjoyed this movie. I felt Johnny Depp did an admirable and fantastic job, and I feel Ray Liotta plays the good guy father really well. Even if it was obvious, I enjoyed how the director created parallels between George as a father and George's dad as a father. In fact I feel did a great overall job on this one. Penelope Cruz wasn't too bad as George's wife, but it was Depp who really starred here. Like I said, he made me feel sorrow for a drug dealer even though parts of this story were probably romanticized.
The Ninth Gate (1999)
The way to ruin the perfect movie
This was honestly the most intriguing movie I have ever seen until they absolutely butchered it with the worst ending I have ever seen. I was on the edge of my seat for 99 % of the movie. I have never wanted to see what happened next so badly in my life. I suggest if you see it to watch it right up until the end and stop it then. At least you will be left with an open window instead of complete disbelief for the absolute butchery of a movie. The acting may not be first rate but it holds its own. The main strength of its movie is the plot and the directing which makes this movie incredibly intriguing. This movie could be rated an 11 until the end when it becomes a 6.
Murderock - Uccide a passo di danza (1984)
Wow was I surprised!
I thought Dancing death was an exquisite masterpiece that should go down in the books as the most tangy piece of movie ever.
