Random Hearts (1999)
Truth is stranger than fiction
I do agree with most people here about the scipt being weak - particularly the sub-plot. Anyhow, having 'A' actors in the cast does mean you would at least get your money's woth.
Judging from the comments, i can see why most people found it BORING. But if you look around - truth can be stranger than fiction...
We Were Soldiers (2002)
Probably the first movie I have walked out of, in years.
Pathetic, Cliche-ridden, overtly jingoistic and one-dimensional acting with no regard to plot or character development.
Avoid at all costs!!!
Better still, instead of buying a ticket, pay the guys waiting in line for the film to go have a beer.
Inconceivable (1998)
for all you men out there
If you want to know why women do the things they do, this film might give you an insight into why it happens.
Eve is married to Adam (watch out for the biblical refs.) and is unable to conceive. Eve actually "conspires" to get pregnant and the film is about her resolve to have a baby. Nice film to watch on a lazy sunday afternoon.
The Patriot (2000)
Sucks, there are better ways of spending your time.
Mel Gibson stars as the militia leader out to avenge the death of his teenage son, at the hands of an evil British colonel (ho hum) during the American war of independence and in the process bores everyone to death. Mel Gibson should stick to films like 'Maverick' instead of trying to do a (bad) repeat of 'Braveheart'. The pace is lacklustre and the film is filled with cliches. Father melting dead son's toy soldiers to make bullets; Happy wedding ends with bride being murdered and avenged stuff. Give me a break.
