Gods and Monsters (1998)
The most amazing movie I have ever seen...
Aside from seeing nice things (such as nicely groomed bodies)in the movie. The story is so powerful and very interesting as to on how James and Clay's life is somewhat parallel to each other but in a different level. And towards a different goal. It is a must see movie. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and feel for both of them. I do not think that there would be a good movie that would be able to portray as well as they did. :)
Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994)
unsuccessful attempt to be like the book
I love Anne Rice books. One should not try and transform it into a movie. When they did "interview with the vampire" i cringed throughout the movie wishing I never watched it. The movie never portrayed the characters faithfully and one should never try to create what Anne Rice creates from a book into a movie. Leave Anne Rice stories to imagination.
Love Is Never Silent (1985)
well portrayed
The story of how Deaf people survived and how a hearing child coped with Deaf parents has never been portrayed as well as this tv movie did. As a deaf person, I was able to understand the frustration the parents went through and as the hearing child went through as if I was in her shoes. The era where Deafness was not well known and is not considered normal was portrayed well. I recommend everybody watch the show. You will come to understand that Deaf people are just like hearing people.
