As the police car crashes through the boat, it is obvious that there is nobody in the passenger seat and that no airbags have been deployed, but in the next shot showing the inside of the car, Watts is in the passenger seat and both front airbags have deployed.
As Rodney and Dee enter the motel room, the camera shot from the outside shows the room as being completely dark, but when the camera is shooting from the inside (both when showing Vanessa alone as they approach, and when the fight inside the room begins), all of the lights in the room and bathroom are on.
As Vanessa is reading the letter from Kareem before Rodney and Dee enter the motel room, there is no cuff around her left wrist, but when she is fighting with Rodney and Dee, her left wrist has a cuff on it and the bar from the bathroom is also hanging from the other end of the cuff.
The second grenade was dropped next to the police car, but when it exploded, it was several feet in front of the police car.
Kareem tells Orlando that an "associate" of his from Dickerson Middle School gave him the address, but earlier he told Dom that he got the address from a tenth-grader that just got out of "juvy". Middle schools would not have tenth-graders.
After picking Kareem up from school, James shows him his taser and says that it can "knock out a 'perp' for 3 hours". Tasers cannot knock someone out. They can incapacitate someone (not for anywhere near three hours), although that person would still be conscious. They can also cause heart attacks and possibly result in someone being in a coma, but that would be rare, inadvertent, and likely last a lot longer than just 3 hours if they don't die.
There is no "Metro Detroit Police Department". Detroit's police force is simply called the Detroit Police Department.
In the letter that Kareem wrote to his mom, he spells Exception and Language correctly, but can't spell Coffee, Horrible, Went, Probably, or Safety correctly.
Although James maces Orlando for a few seconds, Orlando doesn't cough, have watery or red eyes, or even squint a few seconds later, after Kareem walks in with a gun.
The second grenade exploded just a few feet from James, but all it did was knock him to the ground.
The first grenade that blew up only caused Dee to explode, but the packages of drugs that were 1-2 feet next to him appeared to be undamaged.
Instead of sliding out of the handcuff, the severed hand and forearm that was cuffed to the briefcase of money just hangs from the cuff as the briefcase is moved, thrown, and swung around.
When the gangsters learn that Coffee stole a man's car they don't bother to ask what type or color of car it is.
Apparently there are running gun battles on the street so often that no one is concerned.
