One of Donald Trump’s former employees did a full 180 on their testimony about him this week after switching to a new lawyer that the four-time indicted former president is not paying for. And NBC News’ Ken Dilanian says there’s “absolutely” a chance that more Trump allies will flip on him.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Mar-a-Lago It director Yuscil Taveras — previously identified as “Trump Employee 4” in the superseding indictment of Trump — retracted testimony in which he originally said he was unaware of any efforts or instructions to erase security footage from Trump’s Florida resort.
After switching to a public defender instead of a Trump-provided attorney, Taveras testified the exact opposite, further implicating Trump in the classified documents case, and agreeing to testify at trial when the time comes.
“Who would have ever believed that Donald Trump would be guilty of obstructing justice, other than everyone,” Joe Scarborough mocked.

Los Angeles-based Flip, a social commerce app startup in the beauty and wellness space, has raised $28 million in a Series A round led by Streamlined Ventures.
Flip, founded by the Iraqi serial ecommerce entrepreneur Nooruldeen Agha in 2019, is an app that seeks to streamline beauty shopping by incorporating social media discovery, user-generated video reviews, and ecommerce all under one roof. The platform also handles back-end logistics -- including shipping, rewards, returns, and other customer service operations -- for its resident brands.
“Our app is like if TikTok and Amazon had a baby,” Agha told Techcrunch.
For creators -- who can create video reviews for purchases or fire up shoppable live shows -- Flip provides metrics about post performance and enables influencers to garner commissions from any sales that they have driven.

Thanks to the power of Netflix’s reach, the women of “Selling Sunset” are getting pretty famous. While two of their significant others beat them to celebrity status, three seasons into the real-estate reality show, we’ve yet to see those men on screen. But Justin Hartley and Tarek El Moussa are mentioned so much they might as well be honorary cast members.
That goose-egg tally of guest appearances may change in the case of HGTV star El Moussa, “Selling Sunset” executive producer Adam Divello teased to TheWrap ahead of his Season 3 premiere — but it seems highly unlikely for Chrishell Stause’s now ex-husband Hartley.
The plot of “Selling Sunset” Season 3, now on Netflix, revolves around two major life moments — and both involve matrimony. First (chronologically), comes Chrishell’s shocking divorce from “This Is Us” star Hartley, and second, Christine Quinn’s over-the-top wedding to tech entrepreneur Christian Richard.

You may see "couple challenges" floating around Instagram Stories and TikTok lately, and now Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are getting in on the fun. On Tuesday, the power couple went head-to-head for a video on Alex's social media accounts where they tested their relationship knowledge: Who initiated the first kiss? Who is more stubborn? Who's the better cook?
Jennifer and Alex have gotten to know each other pretty well since they started dating over three years ago. In the video, they are able to quickly agree on some things - like who takes longer to get ready in the morning - but they passionately disagree about others. I guess we'll never really know who apologizes first after a fight, who is the most patient, or who said "I love you" first. It makes sense why Alex captioned the clip, "Family feud...

Last spring, Christina Anstead birthed a new baby. Not her son with husband Ant Anstead. He arrived Sept. 6. Rather it was her solo Hgtv venture, Christina on the Coast, that made its debut. While a seeming companion project to Flip or Flop, the home renovation series that turned she and former husband Tarek El Moussa from struggling real estate agents into household names, the designer insists it's "completely different." Now, instead of trying to craft an updated pad that will appeal to the masses, she was redecorating homes with one particular client in mind and even transforming the four-bedroom, 4,870-square-foot Newport Beach, Calif. spread she...

After a rocky few years, cinema from the Philippines is once again bristling with energy and innovation. International interest is rising, and the Tokyo International Film Festival’s 2019 selection reflects some of that. The recent launch of two incentive schemes by the Philippines government may help the country’s production become more international.
The Tokyo festival this year includes a total of eight films and TV episodes from the Philippines across its different sections: “Mananita” in the main competition section; Brillante Mendoza’s “Mindanao” and Erik Matti’s erotic drama “Food Lore Series—Island of Dreams,” in the World Focus section; and Bradley Liew’s “Motel Acacia” in the Asian Focus category.
Philippines films also dominate Tokyo’s Crosscut Asia sidebar, which this year focuses on Southeast Asian fantasy and genre titles: Lav Diaz’ “The Halt,” Antoinette Jadaone’s “Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay,” Matti’s “The Entity...

Director Bejoy Nambiar has carved a niche for himself in the film industry by delivering hits like Shaitaan (2011), David (2013) and Wazir (2016), to name a few. The talented filmmaker continues to enthral the audience with clutter-breaking narratives and, as it seems, he is extremely particular about the actors he ropes in for all his stories. Interestingly, Bejoy wanted Jim Sarbh to play the lead role in his upcoming short story titled, Massage which is a part of Eros Now?s upcoming series, Flip.
Jim will be seen essaying the role of a Parsi person in the drama-thriller Massage who happens to get engaged to his childhood friend. However, an incident completely changes his life. Source inform that Bejoy believed only Jim could play the role and would not have directed the story without him.?
When contacted, Bijoy Nambair confirms the story and says, ?I could only think of Jim playing the character.
