I watched the first episode, and honestly I felt so annoyed. The so called dialog between the host and the expert in the egyptian tomps, was terrible. None of them would shut up, so they kept interupting eachother throughout. It felt rushed and such a shame. I've have watched multiple shows about egypt and I have never experienced such little respect for the death. It felt honestly like a competetion between the two, on who could say the most and interrupt the other when speaking. Just terrible!

Great documentary, but host really need to shut up

Love everything about Egypt. But because of the host, Josh Gates, I just couldn't enjoy it. Just shut your mouth, let the experts do the talking and stop interrupting. You look like a little child who just has nothing interesting to say, but just keeps on talking. So annoying!
Slow Down, Captions Couldn't Begin to Keep Up

I love Expedition Unknown and I LOVE everything about Ancient Egypt.
With that said, I have a hearing disability and between the captions being super slow on live tv shows and the absolute INSANE speed at which they are talking means I missed almost everything that they said.
It might be okay if Discovery had thought to fix this issue when they put it on their streaming platform, but instead I have spent the last half hour replaying ten seconds of video over and over again. Unwatchable. I have absolutely no idea if it was interesting or not.
Adding a bunch of unnecessary words to my review here at the bottom so I reach the character limit, sorry actual people reading this.

Great Documentary but annoying at the same time

As a host Josh Gates should learn to shut up and contain himself, interrupting every single time the expert had something to say oly spoils the mood. He doesn't have patience at all, which make otherwise an interesting and enjoyable show very annoying to watch.
