Alita is fantastic!

The design of the 26th Century is beautiful. Rosa Salazar is simply amazing as Alita!

See this movie in 3D done the way only James Cameron can do it. Great movie!

I waited since last year to see this film. From start to finish this movie had me sucked in. The acting and graphics were great. I admit the ending had me a little upset. I hope they make part 2.

Matches the OVA's to a tee!

Great CGI work, cinematography is spectacular, acting is perfect for the content. There were parts in the TV episodes that I was worried wouldn't make it into the movie but my fears were unfounded, the movie follows the version I am familiar with very well, great job on being true to the original. To the reviewer that compared this to Elyssium, check your facts, this is not like that movie and GUNMM (as ALITA is really known) predates Elyssium by at least a decade or more. Very enjoyable movie, I highly recommend it, go watch and judge for yourself.

This movie demands a part 2!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. As a fan of the OVAs, I think that it was a very faithful adaptation with an understandable and completely forgivable amount of artistic license taken with the plot. For those unfamiliar with the OVAs or manga, this movie is still sure to please because it requires no prior exposure to the source material to understand. When I first saw the previews, I was concerned that the stylistic choices would put Alita squarely into the uncanny valley, but the effects are so seamless that it avoided this pitfall and came out more photorealistic than I ever could have hoped for. The movie would get a 10/10 from me if not for it requiring at least one sequel to close up the story arc. That said, please see this movie. The story is compelling, the characters are believable, and the effects are stunning. See it in IMAX if you can, and show your support so they can green light the sequel that we need and it deserves.

Faithful manga adaptation
kado-9863318 February 2019
I've been waiting for a hollywood transposition since the late 90's. The movie is faithful to the first narration arc of the original manga by Yukito Kishiro but the story is not overcomplicated or convoluted, so you don't need to read the original material to follow the movie. I honestly didn't expect such a high budget production, really glad I was wrong. My personal vote would be an 8/10 (just seeing the city brought to life has been amazing) but I really loved the manga and I understand that for the majority of people this would be just a 2hours+ action flick with a little of sci-fi elements, so a 7/10 should be fair.

Advert too long!
johnnynotty17 February 2019
For a video you upload that is 50 seconds long I think being forced to watch a 30 second advert first is appalling. I won't be clicking on one of these again.

Alita the Titanic 2
buyingorsellingemail17 February 2019
Please Mr. Cameron, go back to making good movies. Leave the Titanic at the bottom, let it go. Watch Elysium, same movie and Way better.

Alita sounds likes food. Greats vfx

The behavior and personality of the characters manages the narrative line of screenplay, in this movie I didn't see that congruence. I'm just sorpressed by vfx
