Disney+‘s hit K-drama Soundtrack #1 is getting a new season. The short-lived friends-to-lovers romance storyline was led by Park Hyung-sik and Han So-hee. Due to the success of the K-drama, fans are getting another worthwhile story in Soundtrack #2 K-drama. Actors Noh Sang-hyun and Geum Sae-rok are in talks to lead the new season.

Superstar Korean actor and producer Gang Dong-won has signed up with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation outside Korea.
Gang joins a string of Korean on-screen talent securing international representation as the country’s creative sector is propelled to the fore by films such as “Parasite” and “Peninsula” and by TV shows such as “Squid Game.”
He continues to be represented in Korea and Japan by Lee Gi Wook at Yg Entertainment.

Lee is best known for his work as director and showrunner of the Korean drama series “The Fiery Priest” starring Kim Nam-gil. Capelight Pictures and Dark Sky Films have announced the December 15th release of The Closet on digital platforms and DVD. The film is written & directed by Kwang-bin Kim and stars Jung-woo Ha (The Handmaiden, Ashfall, Chaser), Yool Heo (Mother), Nam-gil Kim (Memoir of a Murderer, The Fiery Priest) and Sung-woong Park (New World, Rugal).

South Korean TV producer Kim Yongkyu won best creative at the inaugural edition of the Asia Contents Awards in Busan last night, while best Asian drama prizes were presented to Thailand’s Hormones: The Series and Singapore’s Faculty.
Kim won the award for Studio Dragon’s Mr. Sunshine, a historical drama starring Lee Byung-hun (Red 2) that has premiered globally on Netflix. Hormones: The Series is a teen drama covering controversial topics such as teenage pregnancy, while Faculty revolves around professors and students in a Singapore university.
