Sex & Nudity

  • Cartoonish male and female nudity in at least 4 to 5 episodes. Bare chests and buttocks are typically seen, but the pubic region is occasionally very brief on display as well.
  • There are crude jokes for male and female genitalia.
  • Some crass and crude sex jokes sprinkled throughout.
  • Almost no nudity in the 2nd anthology. Genitalia is on display in a circus in the final episode, "The Drowned Giant".
  • In one episode, there is implied sex.
  • There are occasional scenes implying sexual encounters and acts.
  • Season 3 contains no graphic nudity, which is very tame compared to the first two seasons.
  • Lots of male genitalia albeit largely computer generated. More infrequent female genitalia, some nudity less severe. Also, they're not usually real people.
  • Multiple sex scenes.
  • Season 3 is free from nudity.
  • Some episodes have nudity, but some don't. The majority of it occurs in Season 1 though, and it gets tamer as the show progresses.
  • Nudity is never highly explicit and it is always animated. Therefore, it's in less detail than it otherwise would've been.
  • Original premise of the first season mainly focused on combining futuristic themes, with lots of gore and violence and an explicit sex scene. Significantly toned down in the following seasons.

Violence & Gore

  • This show is animated, but the violence is very gory. In every way, a physical body can die is on display at some point or another.
  • Where in Season 1 and 2, there are only a few episodes that have gore, but Season 3 has over-the-top gory violence in almost every episode.
  • A person is impaled through the chin by another character with numerous blades that exit from their hand. The claws are shown piercing the top of the head.
  • A character is impaled in the head with claws and then has their head stomped on by another character with their high heel shoe, caving their head inwards.
  • A vampiric creature bites a character's neck and tears off a large chunk of his flesh. It then impales him using both of its hands and tears him vertically in half; brief but extremely graphic and gory.
  • A character pushes down on the sides of a character's mouth until their jaw bends inwards and breaks, killing the character. Very brief but slightly bloody and very disturbing.
  • There is a graphic closeup of a katana slicing through a character's neck before fully decapitating them. The severed head falls down a flight of stairs.
  • Two werewolves fight, which ends when one of them grabs his teeth around the other's mouth and bites down, crushing his jaws and killing him.
  • A massive robot punches a character in the side of the face, completely obliterating their head and decapitating them.
  • A cage fight between two giant monsters. Multiple stabing and riping out of body parts.
  • A head and a arm of a non human species is ripped out in very graphic detail.

Profanity

  • Frequent uses of "f**k", "c**t", "sh*t", "ass", "b*tch", some racial slurs, etc. Profanity varies in episodes, with some containing strong language and some containing none.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A few alcoholic drinks are referenced and shown. Characters smoke and use drugs in some episodes, but not all episodes.
  • A sedative drug is used.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many of the episodes are intentionally disturbing by nature. Characters' minds are bended, and it makes some viewers' minds wander in strange and atypical ways. People are chased, stalked, and murdered constantly. Also, there are very infrequent scenes of suicide.
  • The second season is tamer than the first, but still unsettling. However, that's not the case with the third one, which is a lot gorier than the previous two seasons.
