If there's one thing that makes this series truly special, it's Rawsan Hallak. She brings a new level of fun to the conversation about self-love, family love, and societal expectations. While her episode is encased in a section for Middle Eastern comics, her work is universal and easily translates to many cultures and their diasporas. The twenty minutes went by too fast and it's a shame that I haven't seen more acts like her's (or just more of her's-- I can't find other acts subtitled in English). I would sure hope that changes soon.
