The Doctor and The Master arrive upon the desolate ruins of Gallifrey and the Master says, Look upon my works, Doctor, and despair". In 1818, Percy Bysshe Shelley wrote the sonnet 'Ozymandias' which contained the line, "My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair." The Doctor had met Shelley in The Haunting of Villa Diodati (2020).
