- Characters wear a jumpsuit to pilot the Jeagers. One of which is female. The suits are somewhat tight, but they are armored and never sexualized in any way throughout the entire runtime of the show.
Violence & Gore

- The show has a constant portrayal of violence that in some (most) cases lead to death. The show does portray blood, both of Kaiju and Humans. Although there is a lot of blood spatter from kaiju's it is blue and there isn't much gore.
- At the end of episode 5 season 1, one character's head explodes this is offscreen but the splatter is clearly seen

- The series has dark, ominous setting centering around war and a climbing death toll. The main characters spend the series fighting "titanic monsters from an unknown hellscape" with huge manmade robots. Buildings are crushed, monsters stabbed and shot(but there's no blood), and heroes are killed. Characters predict the end of the world. A boy is found trapped in fluid.
