I usually don't watch Tatort because there are still a lot of other movies for me that I haven't watched yet with higher quality on an international scale. Considering the budget, they did a good job on this one. The amount of action scenes in this movie is equal to zero, but that does not weaken the tension. The approach on a kid being a possible and valuable eye witness is quite interesting and I found myself guessing how "it" all happened. The middle of the movie was entertaining but the ending was tensionless and too long for what it contained.
Also this movie uses the technique of switching between times. This seems to establish the tension in the beginning in a literally cheap way. I don't want to value this though.
You can definitely watch it, if you are a fan of the series. Otherwise there are some stronger episodes to be prefered over this one.
