  Roberto Capucci : One day in Rome, at the Feltrinelli bookstore, I saw a man who had two white parrots on his shoulders. And I, who love animals, thought 'Look at that one: how nice!' When I smiled and he approached I knew he was Ottavio Rosati: I had known him well in the days when he was with Fernanda Pivano, the writer. And he, nice, put the parrots on my shoulder and said, 'Hi Roberto, I want to make a documentary about you! What do you say?' And I told him yes. There were three important directors who had asked me for the rights but I gave them to Ottavio. And everything went well with Rosati even though the production took seven years!
