Long before Greta Gerwig's pink pop cultural juggernaut Barbie came along, the fuchsia feminist revolution began with 2001's Legally Blonde. As blonde and brilliant SoCal socialite-turned-Harvard law student Elle Woods, Reese Witherspoon helped create a bona-fide cult classic and one of the 21st century's first great big screen heroines. Now, a couple of decades after 2003 sequel Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, Witherspoon is gearing up to return to Elle Woods' world with her Hello Sunshine production company for several new Amazon spin-off series.
As reported by Deadline, Witherspoon — whose first Hello Sunshine/Amazon collaboration, Daisy Jones & The Six, debuted on Prime Video last year — is set to team up with Gossip Girl developers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage for the first project, which is furthest along in development. Schwartz and Savage are set to write the series, whose plot currently remains tightly under wraps, with Witherspoon taking on a producing role.

Invincible is having a great run as an animated series, produced by Seth Rogen under Amazon Studios. The show recently wrapped up its second season, one that ended with a bang. However, there are a lot of things that had to change for the adaptation of the comic, specifically because of how many characters from other IPs it featured in its source material.
Invincible (2021-present)
While comics created under the Image Comics label are owned by their respective creators, the characters do share a world with other IPs, and often crossover with each other during major events. Given that an Invincible live-action film is in the works, it is completely possible that Invincible could kick off a shared Image Comics universe, that could bring to the screen a host of beloved characters.

Beyonce‘s career breakthrough came in the 1990s as a teenage member of Destiny’s Child. But since then she has established herself as one of the biggest music stars of the 21st century. So naturally it’s challenging to narrow down the greatest hits of her career … not that we let that stop us from trying, though. Scroll down for our countdown of her best songs — including “Countdown”! Do you agree with how we rank them?
Destiny’s Child had several hits including “Survivor” and “Bills, Bills, Bills,” but it was “Say My Name” that earned Beyonce her first Grammys when she was only 19: Best R&b Duo/Group Performance and Best R&b Song. She has since become one of the most awarded individuals in Grammy history, the most awarded woman in history, and the most nominated woman in history. But most of the top categories have eluded her.

You’d be forgiven for being surprised that Jason Derulo hadn’t released an album since 2015’s Everything Is 4. In the nine years since that full-length’s release, Derulo has kept himself in the public eye, whether through his Tiktoks or his steady stream of singles; his fizzy collaboration with the New Zealand producer Jawsh 685 “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat” even reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2020, thanks in part to a clutch assist from BTS.
That gap helps explain in part the length of Nu King, Derulo’s fifth album.

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she is not a “freak” anymore and that she is now taking her time when it comes to inviting someone in her bedroom. “It’s like nobody be listening to my music,” she sarcastically said on Instagram Live Thursday. “They be like, (gasp) ‘Megan Thee Stallion … I cannot believe she likes to have sex! I cannot believe Megan Thee Stallion f–ks!’”

Drake has unveiled Scary Hours 3, featuring six new songs.
The third installment in the Scary Hours series arrives as an expansion of the rapper’s latest album, For All the Dogs, which itself dropped just a month ago. Now– amidst hiatus-inducing tummy troubles – the new songs were written and recorded over a period of just five days, and include the track “Evil Ways,” featuring J. Cole. The previous two Scary Hours releases touted big hits, including 2018’s “God’s Plan,” as well as 2021’s “Wants and Needs” featuring Lil Baby and “What’s Next.”
“I feel no need to appease anybody,” the rapper says in a moody drone-shot announcement video filmed over Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall. “I feel so confident about the body of work that I just dropped that I know I could go and disappear for six months, a year, two years – even though I’m not really into...

Megan Thee Stallion experienced nearly every emotion possible when she was asked to perform with Beyoncé on the Houston stop of the Renaissance Tour last weekend.
It was a fitting proposition, as both Grammy winners are Texas natives. The star power was undoubtedly exploding through the Nrg Stadium as the duo linked up to cover Stallion’s 2020 chart-topper, “Savage”, and Stallion herself was bursting with a myriad of feelings too.
Taking her emotions over to Instagram, the rapper, who has sold over 5 million units in the U.S., shared a recollection of her thoughts when she was asked to join the stage with Queen Bey, and yes, the tears were flowing for the super fan.

On Saturday night, the crowd at Houston’s Nrg Stadium was surprised – and ecstatic – when Beyoncé invited Megan Thee Stallion on stage.
In footage from halfway through Saturday night’s show, Beyoncé asked the crowd, “Do we have any savage ladies and gentlemen in Houston tonight?” In response to the cheers, she announced, “Please give it up for Houston’s own Megan Thee Stallion!”
Megan strutted on stage to deliver a performance of the duo’s Grammy-winning “Savage” remix. She recited the opening lyrics, “I’m that bitch. Been that b—-, still that b—-. Will forever be that b—-,” and added, “What’s up, Houston?”
From her platform, Beyoncé smiled at her colleague in admiration. She asked the concertgoers, “Does she make you proud?” The crowd roared in response. Beyoncé continued, “She makes me proud. I love you, girl.”
Megan Thee Stallion screamed back, “I love you Beyoncé!

Lyrics that include the words “dick,” “fuck” and “pussy” are not the typical wholesome, family content the Academy’s Music Branch tends to recognize. But occasionally, they have allowed a couple to slip through. A24’s “Dicks: The Musical,” the opening night Midnight Madness at TIFF, has an onslaught of hilarious and catchy tunes that I wish the Oscars would be brave enough to nominate.
With so many hilarious tracks to choose from, including “Gay Old Life” and “The Sewer Song,” Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion brings down the house with her delivery on the rap and dance number “Out-Alpha the Alpha.” It could and should be one of the many songs to consider for this year’s Academy Awards, and distributor A24 confirms they’ll submit the movie for Oscar consideration.

The creative team behind Sony’s David-and-Goliath comedy “Dumb Money” drew parallels between the battle between Reddit investors and Wall Street tycoons over the GameStop stock and the actors and writers strikes that are roiling Hollywood.
“We just watched a film about the system being rigged. It’s rigged on Wall Street, and it’s rigged in Hollywood,” said Lauren Schuker Blum, who co-wrote the screenplay to “Dumb Money” with Rebecca Angelo, at the Toronto Film Festival premiere on Friday night. “We’re proud to be part of a union that’s fighting for transparency.”
Craig Gillespie directed “Dumb Money,” which chronicles the stranger-than-fiction frenzy between amateur investors and hedge fund billionaires that turned into the infamous GameStop stock saga in January 2021. As the story goes, a group of fiercely loyal ragtag investors on Reddit managed to band together to put a squeeze on Wall Street traders who bet that...

Drake has finally confirmed a release date for his new album, For All the Dogs. It will arrive on Friday, September 22nd.
The rapper revealed the release date in an Instagram post. While the caption provided details on his own album, the post itself was a video of Drake’s father, the singer Dennis Graham, performing on his own. Perhaps that means Dennis appears on For All the Dogs?
Drake first revealed the title for For All the Dogs in June, when he was promoting his poetry book Titles Ruin Everything. Ads for the record included a Qr code to a website of the same name, which included the album’s title and the following message: “I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake, girl don’t tempt me.”
Last month, meanwhile, Drake shared the album’s artwork, created by his son,...

TikTok's impact on the music industry can't be understated. Many of the biggest hits of the last five years started to gain fans and soar up the Billboard charts thanks to TikTok. One of the first songs to really show off the power of TikTok was Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," which ended up sitting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 19 weeks in a row and launched Lil Nas X - then a teenager trying to break into the industry - to superstardom. Other songs that got a huge boost from fans on TikTok were Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage," Doja Cat's "Say So," and Benee's "Supalonely," which all became favorites on the app. There are also tons of older songs that got a boost and found new fans on the app, like Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams," Taylor Swift's "Love Story," and Patsy Cline's "Crazy.

After all the vacillating the past few days over the backdoor target, Tuesday in the “Big Brother 25” house was pretty quiet from that perspective. Hisam remains the target and no one (read: Cirie and Izzy) is budging on that. So that meant time to focus on next week and form more fake alliances.
There is truly nothing this group loves more than making alliances. Some are real, some are fake, most of them last for, like, two days and even less before word gets out to the rest of the house. It’s an absolute headache trying to keep track now. The Savage Seven formed a few days ago but were iffy on the name. Now they are Seven Deadly Sins. Perhaps indicative of the gameplay, they tried to assign themselves a sin but couldn’t name them all. They’ve circled America as a target, as she’s been...
