Takes a while to get started

This one takes a bit to get going and funny, but once he starts, he keeps it going hard. Don't be afraid of the gay jokes, they lead to some funny moments and even funnier stories.

I liked it. Not as funny as "A little unprofessional" but still very good. The Golden Corral bit was hilarious.

This was my third Ron White stand-up comedy in a short period. Not the funniest of the three but certainly good enough to entertain me during one hour. Ron White has his unique way to bring his jokes, with his heavy voice abused from years of cigars and alcohol he gets your immediate attention. His jokes are cynical, full of satire and sarcasm and that's what makes it good. Even when he forgets a line he's funny, he's never panicking, on the contrary he'll make it even funnier. If you liked Ron White before you normally should like this show as well. I don't get the negative reviews, if you don't like that kind of language and/or jokes why the hell are you even watching this show? What did you expect with Ron White? Lousy The Big Bang Theory humor or childish Bill Cosby humor?

Someone not afraid of the snowflake era

I'm a huge stand up fan. The raunchier the better I say. Ron has a great balance of raunch and smart kneeling dialogue. I really enjoyed this hour special.

Southern fried lunacy

This guy is pretty darn outrageous, and I found myself cringing at some of his jokes. An unusual comedian - a handsome older man who mixes Southern fried humor with oddball sexual stuff.

Whoever edited sound for this special needs to be fired! Ron White is hilarious as always but it sounds like Ron is using a boom mic while each and every audience member is hooked up with a lav mic. (Imagine you're watching a tv show and as soon as it goes to commercial, the audio becomes twice as loud to get your attention.) That's what happens every few seconds when the crowd laughs. (Audience volume goes from a 5 to 10) Normal volume when Ron is talking then audience laughter goes way too high!! Ron White is hilarious as it is, there's no need for the unnatural volume with the laugh audio. Other than the audio, I recommend this

Much of this descends into raunchy sex jokes I'd turn off if it was anyone else but him. So, the relatively low rating is due to those. However, the usual self-deprecating jokes were still present. The Golden Corral bit was hilarious.

I think the Ron of old has returned.

I've seen Ron White's stuff with the Blue Collar Comedy guys, and he's always been somewhat amusing, but not an act I'd pay to go see. However he seems to have done a complete 360, and is actually quite funny now! Obviously the toothless cousin-pumping Christians that used to watch his clean comedy years ago are fuming at his new style, but he has just won over a whole new legion of fans with his new direction. Can't wait for his next special!

I guess I'm kinda partial to it because I was there when it was being filmed (ft row mid center) and meeting him was the cherry on top. Watching him on a video, like most artists, is not the same but it has that same Ron White kick. (I'm waiting for another tour of the group l, those I miss the most.)

He covers all subjects.. couples, animals and of-course whiskey! No holds barred - everything is on the table! Little funk and even when you "unfunk", there's something for everyone!

... if you are sensitive to smoke, then it's a great time to gather a few friends and drink responsible. Thanks Ron!

A Must Watch For Stand Up Comedy Fans

I don't give 10 star ratings out often. But the special right here, Ron white exceeded all expectations. He smokes a cigar, and sips whiskey, giving off a very relaxed vibe. This is a perfect special for anyone who is trying to escape, this was absolutely hilarious! Do be warned about the sex, and the cussing, The special definitely isn't for anybody under 18. With that being said, Ron White is an absolute legend and this is a must watch special!

My wife and I used to be fans of Rin when he was a member of the Blue Collar Comedy group where he was really funny.

This, however, is quite simply REPULSIVE on a number of levels....he lost us FOR GOOD after about 10 minutes or so.

This was my first experience with Ron - I've never witnessed someone play such complex irony while remaining so deeply in character. Very, very dirty, delivered with the words of a fanatically moral libertarian but the manner of a redneck casual bigot. I found this hilarious!

It was sad watching Ron White spiral down into the depths of "used to be funny". It was like watching George Carlin in his final days. Excessive unnecessary language, staggering jibberish with run on nonsense. And every now and then - a spark of the old Ron. Something funny. Cheers to you Ron. You had a good run. Hope you managed your money well.

I never expected a man of his age to be this funny and relevant. That being said, I don't know anything about his personal life and previous works. I am judging only what I have seen on this special, and it was hilarious. Even his political jokes were funny. Just because he didn't put them in politically correct terms, doesn't mean he is a bad person.

Same jokes different stories. Ron White has few good jokes in this Netflix special. The jokes are poorly delivered and he's lost his witty and sarcastic Edge. It was almost sad to watch as he's not nearly as funny as he was in his last five specials. I've watched every special he's ever done and several YouTube videos all of which were hysterical. This one is just tired and he doesn't even look like he wants to be there.

Lost a Fan

My parents and I had been fans of Ron White for what seems like eons. My parents have even seen him live. However, after watching just the first few minutes we turned it off and will probably never listen to him again. I have no problem with the language or what is perceived as "raunchiness". I'm not normally easily offended, I LOVE Ricky Gervais for example and he tends to offend everyone. For me it was the subject matter that he opened with and the fact that he continued with that spiel far too long. So letting it roll off to move forward with the show wasn't an option for us, we were too disgusted to continue watching.

This is one racist stand up show. Didn't know him so I just hit play and 10 mins in I was like "how is this ok" What's with Netflix??? I am SHOCKED.

I've been to a lot of comedy shows and this Ron White guy was the worst ever. Was at the Mirage last weekend and paid good money for the 2 seats!! Such a waist of $$ he was nasty and ridiculous.
