This is about as good as you can get, starting with significant and moving character development, the power of friendship and after so much despair, hope for victory. We start with goblin slayer about as low as you can get imminent goblin attack, no hope of survival, and knowing that his childhood friend will be subject to horrific abuse and finally death. Then the plea for assistance, the willingness to give up everything for help and then the willingness to assist at almost no cost. The battle is classic goblin slayer and a joy to watch and of course, we end with the gobbling slayer meeting the king of the goblins. What will happen, as we are not yet out of the woods? I cannot recommend this episode enough.
