While you wait for more, check out several first look images below.
The film tells the story of Nora (Sarah McGuire), an influencer, who along with her brother Jake (Jake Jackson) are filming her failed dates for a video blog. Through a turn of events, she ends up on a date with Emilia (Valeri Bates), a female vampire.
Soon they find themselves in the crosshairs of a group of murderous vampire hunters.
Rea tells us, “I think we’ve made a fun and original found-footage feature that we hope pleases fans of the sub-genre. We are planning for a festival premiere possibly in the late summer.”

From award-winning writer/director Patrick Rea (I Am LIsa), They Wait In The Dark stars Sarah McGuire (The Stylist) as Amy, a mum fleeing with her son from her abusive partner Judith, encountering something even more terrifying when she seeks refuge in the old farmhouse she grew up in.
They Wait In The Dark features a superb central performances from McGuire, showing unexpected mettle as her situation spirals into hopelessness, and Laurie Catherine Winkel (Father of the Bride) is outstanding as the knife-toting, not to be messed with Judith, who, as Eye for Film says, “strides through this film like one of the great screen villains”.
As with his other genre films I Am Lisa and Enclosure, Rea is proving to be an accomplished horror stylist, eliciting terrific performances from his cast, and wringing maximum suspense from a screenplay that builds up a steady drip of dread, as the characters are plunged deeper into darkness.

Part werewolf movie, part female revenge flick, entertaining small town horror I Am Wolf does a decent job of genre blending, thanks to a smart script and savvy direction from Patrick Rea.

Unfortunately, Lisa quickly runs foul of local mean bully Jessica Huckins (Carmen Anello), who’s basically untouchable because her mother, Deb (Manon Halliburton) is the corrupt local Sheriff.
Things quickly gets worse for Lisa when she tries to report Jessica for assault and ends up getting beaten and left for dead in the forest by Deb and her deputy son, Nick (Chris Bylsma). However,...
