Ben is warned that Cal is somehow the 'holy grail' for the conspirators and tries to prepare as his son predicts he'll need to help another unspecified passenger soon. Grace finally admits that turning Ben away was wrong, pending he 'went far too easily', and learns he did everything possibly and more for his family, insisting she must from now on be informed, regardless of dangers. Grace having expected Ben to mind Cal, who says that won't work, aunt Michaela gets to mind him, but gets utterly distracted by visitor Autumn Cox, who ultimately admits she was blackmailed into being double agent for the custody of her daughter, which Jared finds. Meanwhile Cal disappeared from his room, Jared halts the search by pretending he's safely with grandpa. Cal's drawings inspire Ben's party to find him near a remote town, sporting they're shadowed by NSA boss Jansen, who reports to the Major, who moves into New York. The wood cabin Cal drew and waits in gets a mysterious wounded visitor just after Ben arrived, during a blizzard v-fitting Michaela's weirdest, most intense 'calling' vision.
