Future star alert!!!

Really enjoyed this episode. Really great seeing Mercedes Ruehl and Jill Hennessey again... But I want to say that the stand-out performance...one of the best I've seen on TV in awhile, was by Gus Birney. As the surviving daughter of two horrific crimes, her portrayal was empathetic and heartbreaking. Just a terrific performance. I see that she has quite a few upcoming projects, and I for one will be on the lookout for her. You should be too.

Warning: Spoilers
A moving episode with Bull being a juror in one trial, and being a consultant in another. British actress Cara Seymour plays a mother charged with murder, and we get a guest appearance by Jill Hennessy as Cable's mother. One poignant moment was when Bull heard Cable's voice.

Finally, an emotional connection

Great episode! It gives the type of emotional connection often found in the star's old show, NCIS that is often lacking. Especially, true with the defendant's daughter and the reactions to Cable's death.

The show also shows the importance of the jury in our legal system. The jury determines the outcome when the law is not simply black and white, but what happens often in real life, a shade of gray.

Jury Duty

I love this show. Very well written. I would like to know when this episode aired for the first time. I know I watched this episode (Jury Duty) a while back.

2 stars for a few humorous moments

So, this show has gone from being about defending people who are innocent and facing tough prosecution, to helping people get away with clearly breaking the law. Apparently it is now perfectly fine to clearly break the law if you have good intentions, or your heart is in the right place, or you were just doling out some much needed vigilante justice. It's just time served and good behavior for gunning someone down in the street. Nice. Oh, and you can just without a license practice law, medicine or whatever else. Things that require a rigorous and sometimes expense education. It's all fine until/unless you lose a case, or a patient. Good to know. I've always wanted to be an airline pilot. Guess I get my self a nice suit and pilot hat and just start flying planes. It'll be fine, I've spent 30 minutes behind the controls of a two seater airplane and there is always a co-pilot. What could possibly go wrong?
