Although the glaring change in the tone of suits after mike and Rachel have left, the episode encapsulates the realisation of the two characters that, for me, have driven the show since episode 1 moreso than even mike and Rachel. Naturally, the substantial change is disheartening and missing Jessica is poignant however the show seems to be trying to build a wildly different suits to what it was before.

Good one!

Warning: Spoilers
Gabriel Macht did a terrific job this episode! My heart really went for Harvey! I was really angry we didn't get to see Harvey and Mike say a proper goodbye to each other (which didn't really give us the viewers the chance to say goodbye too) but this time I really felt it. As viewers we often get attached to the characters and when they leave we really miss them. When Harvey said to the doc that everybody leaves, I could really feel his pain and also kind of share it. The show is not the same without Jessica, Mike and Rachel but since the beginning of the season, this time I really felt that things are starting to fall back into place. I even started to like Samantha (just a little bit). Until now she mostly felt like all show and no substance but this time we got to see a little bit more of her. I'm not sold yet but I'm ready to give her a chance. It's really amazing to see how much Harvey and Louis changed and grown since the beginning. I think the writers really did a good job with the characters development. Both are the same but also different... I really enjoyed this episode! Thumbs up!

It's coming together

Warning: Spoilers
After a dull start while introducing Heigl character, this season is starting to lightning up. Macht and Hoffman relationship is changing and we' ve got a new partners "friends" in this season. Why? Because we miss Rachel and Mike. Nobody will fill up the hole they left, but i think the writers are trying their best to make that hole less deep.

Risk paid off
shaahin_ghaderi24 August 2018
Beginning of season eight transfers the feeling that something is wrong and it's all disaster ; but new characters and stronger focus on some characters ,new theme & fresh writing amazingly saves the show. (Worth The Risk) I'm not saying they completely change the material! They actually stayed very original but somehow made little even though noticable changes that I personaly loves very much and begining to enjoy even more than before cause mike-harvey's boy band was getting a little bit too predictable.

Nice Move to Humanity

I still think that Louis is a jerk. As much as he wants to be liked, he flies off the handle at the slightest comment. Lipschitz talks to him after Harvey has railed on him after he left work to have sex with Sheila. Harvey keeps the client and Louis again doesn't feel respected. So ultimately the two of them go to see the psychiatrist because they are in a "relationship." That turns ugly and Louis storms out. If you don't agree with him, you're worthless. But Harvey has enough class to return and discuss what has been eating him. There is another plot with Katrina and her efforts to become a partner. Louis and Harvey have a meeting at the end which still keeps the edge but solves some issues.

Warning: Spoilers
As much as I enjoy seeing Harvey and Louis progress as characters and Harvey's scene with the therapist was heartwarming. I am not enjoying this season at all, it just isn't the same without Mike, Rachel and Jessica and the new characters that have been added do not fill their void in the slightest.

5th episode in season 8 and what a letdown it has been. All the new characters just ruins it. Especially the freking Katherine Heigl! Hopefully it gets better but truthfully I'm not so sure.

Meet the new writer... that killed the show
lawsondog23 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
A new writer debuted on this episode, we can call him MG. Characters were obviously different. They said things that did not fit their personalities and it was clear that someone who didn't understand the show was given an opportunity but it's a mistake. This writer, MG, makes another appearance later this season and then writes all of season 9... you know... the season that didn't get renewed and killed the show... I'm not sure how or why but it is what it is, and it's obvious the death of suits leads back to this episode and it's terrible writing from MG.

Harvey letting the issues with his brother and Louis trying to have a baby effect his work? That's the dumbest plot line ever.

Katrina never having a friend? Come on... MG would fit better writing for the hallmark channel.
