Terrible. These guys had to sit through some of the dumbest and least funny routines, and act like they thought they were funny. What a horrible show. The spoiler is, this show sucks.

Is this supposed to be comedy?

This show is so bad that if things keep going the way they're going I'm gonna be the one winning the prize. "If you laugh, lou lose. Winner takes all", well, I haven't laughed not even once since the beggining of the first episode so where's my money?
Terrible NO LO VEAS

One of the worst comedy shows

It gets better every season.

At first in Season 1 and 2 it was all about combining old school comedy and pop-up comedy in Mexico, it didn't go well, the generational gap in between these styles was pretty obvious. Season 1 is a little hard to watch and not that funny and Season 2 definitely was way more funnier and entertaining with new dynamics. The concept of the show is very entertaining and over time they have implemented this concept better and better.
Season 3 is looking very promising to be honest, they focused on comedians from all Mexican media and combining different styles of comedy with no generational gap, can't wait for Season 3!!

Laughed twice over the entire season.

One of the cringiest, lamest comedy shows I have ever witnessed.
I only laughed twice over the entire season: one around the middle, just out of sheer awkwardness and to break the overwhelming silence that was filling the living room -even with around 10 friends watching-; and another immediately after the last episode ended: joke was on me.
Save your time. Watch something funnier. Like grass growing.

Worst show Ive ever seen. The skinny kid that stuck behind the tinsel and throws an attitude and tells the band to stop playing and they don't.. it's so awkwardly not funny ..to the point you can't tell if it is a joke.. whatever it's intent is it's a huge failure.. whoever thought this was funny and was told it was...needs to never work in comedy again.
Hilarious!

This is indeed a surprising experiment and a show to watch with friends; it makes for some good fun and Derbez as a host is great. These ten comedians really pull out crazy things to win and it really becomes hilarious.
Who will win? Hard to say, bot worth to watch!

This show is basically a ripoff of the Japanese series Documental except it's terrible and Mexican.
If you're unfamiliar with the source material that this was sloppily cribbed from, 10 "comedians" pool their money and are locked in a room for 6 hours trying to make each other laugh. Smiles earn yellow cards, bigger offenses award red cards and result in expulsion from the game. The last one standing gets all of the pooled money as a prize (incidentally, wouldn't that be "last one not laughing?")
It's a setup that works wonderfully for Documental, where long-form bits and callbacks build on themselves for hours and gamified rules cultivate interesting play. In between bits that bring many viewers to tears of laughter, an unhinged sort of tension builds between the competing comics until one or more break.
Anyway, I don't know if it's a cultural thing, a group of bad improvisers and poorly matched comedians, showrunners that don't really understand the formula, or all of the above, but this show is terrible. Using the same formula that Documental leverages to create comedic gold, LOL somehow manages to be actively unfunny. The comedians' bits fall flat, their props and characters have the creativity and flair of an audience member's contributions to an improve troupe, and nothing has the time or merit to breathe or build on itself. Several contestants are also actively unlikable in addition to being unequivocally unfunny.
Few contestants seem to find anything that they collectively put forth to be funny, either, resulting in a conversational environment devoid of tension. The host tries gamely to seem interested or interesting, propping up his contestants by erupting in faked laughter at feeble bits or doing his own riffs in the back room he views the "action" from. To his credit, he keeps the game moving along despite the complete absence of humor or inherent momentum. Unfortunately, that often requires him to scan for errant smiles and hand out infractions like an HOA Karen checking her neighbors paint against a list of approved swatches. I do wonder on some level if maybe something passably funny could have taken shape without his hawkish interruptions, but frankly I doubt it.
This is a bad show. It's not even "so bad it's funny in unintended ways" bad, it's just bad.

I bet one dolllar I can do better!

I'm sure I am late to watch this....the idea of the show sounds good, but, wow! So disappointed with the comedians! I could have at LEAST half of the "comedians" out of the game in just the first round. If they ever do another make of this show I would LOVE to be in it. Show the audience how to play the game correctly! Rebel Wilson, I even bet you a dollar that I could win this game girl!
The worst version of LOL!
julieta-de-lara20 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Not only the worst version of the program LOL but Eugenio Derbez lost all of his humor with that "God complex" he has...
I've seen some of the comedians participating and they showed the worst version of themselves to please the "master of comedy" whereas in ther comfort zone are super funny!
The pressure to be "funny" is just too much and becomes even vulgar and disgusting!
Just a waste of time...

true to the Japanese original

This is a very funny version of the original Japanese format. The comedians are all hilarious and have completely off-the-wall personalities. Nothing is perfect so hence the 9/10, but worth you time if what you're looking for is some laughs.
Fifth season is HILARIOUS
joelvilla-3386130 December 2022
The fifth season is the best one. They bring in consuelo duval as a guest and a live audience, i was laughing so hard.the comedians take it upon themselves to make everybody laugh, unlike the first season, where they try to avoid people. This is raw comedy. Not scripted. These get better and better with every season. The last 3 laughs were the best, eugenio derbez is hsut a comedic genious, the flow, and energy was outstanding i had to binge watch this in one night. This requires a certain type of crude humor, for people that enjoy familia pluche, la escuelita, all of the old school 90s and 00s not millennials.
