This episode was a climax of boredom of the past two mostly talk episodes. Almost every episode this season was padded with about twenty-five minutes of pointless discussion. This is not Gilmore Girls, this is The Punisher. Get to the action.
Rachel is played by Giorgia Whigham, who is one of the most annoying characters I have seen in a while. She has such a smug, shifty, and witchy personality that I keep expecting a head shot from either Jigasw or John Pilgrim will spare the audience any more of her.
What a drag that all of season 2 was with Giorgia Whigham as the lead character. Thanks to streaming video, I was able to fast-forward most of her boring discussion and character development scenes.
By comparison, Amber Rose Revah, who plays Special Agent Dinah Madani, is a real firecracker who can deliver her lines just with the looks that she gives to people. Really good actress who plays a very conflicted character. You never know which direction Madani will go, and that makes her fun to watch.
Jason R. Moore as Curtis is the other plus in this season. He is a great actor, and he is interesting to watch. If it wasn't for Curtis, I would fast forward everything with Jon Bernthal except for the fight scenes.
Ben Barnes plays Jigsaw. He is way too cute to be Jigsaw. The Jigsaw of the comic books was a much larger man with a totally destroyed face that looked like a jigsaw puzzle. The character Barnes plays has a few scars that look like they were painted on with a magic marker. He hardly look hideous. As someone else pointed out, even with the fake scars he is still handsome.
Jon Bernthal only seems capable of grunting and strutting like a cocker spaniel. He is really too short for the role, and he is kind of goofy looking in many scenes. The only reason to watch this show is for the action scenes. The fact that they packed season 2 with endless discussions and flash-backs makes me think they ran out of ideas after season 1.
