An unworthy movie to a great show, only for closure (of your passion for more)

Warning: Spoilers
The TV show "Der letzte Bulle"(The last cop) is just great, original, funny, cool, clever, entertaining and moving. It has enough testosterone to appeal to "real men" and enough counterparts (a clever and likable female psychologist and "the last cop's" somewhat metrosexual, progressive, post-macho partner) to be entertaining for women who like their men strong but not too much macho. And in particular the often criticized last/fifth season provides a very clever, gripping crime plot. Now to the movie: the movie has pretty much none of the features/assets above, it knocks over all the essential parts of the show and overdoes it awfully (it really hurts to watch this). In addition there are half-hearted political onsets, which could have been brave and good, but since the movie does not go through with them, none of them is a success. So to cut a long story short: if the (good) premise is appealing to you (and I can only recommend it), go watch the TV show. The movie is only useful, if (when) you are sad that there are no more than five seasons, to find closure, because the movie will -with a high certainty- stifle your lust for more.
