Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • An antagonist orders to hunt down and kill the main characters (two teenagers and a kid).
  • A sympathetic character is murdered by assassins (offscreen).
  • A character is injured during a fight and ends up paralyzed (although he is later cured by magic)
  • A character's body is burned onscreen but is covered up by a sheet.
  • An antagonist is stabbed in the chest with a sword and starts bleeding, but is later revealed to be an illusion. This is the most graphic sequence in the whole series.
  • A dragon is bitten by a monstrous wolf. Blood is briefly shown.
  • Claudia has her leg cut off underwater. Black blood is shown coming out of the stump.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some characters use "dark magic" spells which turn their eyes black or purple and often have a creepy effect (like materializing a tentacle or magical hounds to attack enemies, trapping people inside coins or evoking ghost-like beings). This magic sometimes drains energy from other living creatures; in one case it's strongly implied a character killed a fawn-like animal to perform a spell (although this happens offscreen).
  • There is a decent amount of fighting or intense parts that could potentially turn into fighting. Deaths in several episodes that happen offscreen, some flashbacks and some in real time. Some dead soldiers are shown in one of the first few episodes.
  • At one point, the Antagonist is impaled by his own son in an attempt to kill a child. The Antagonist begins bleeding and dies. The scene is potentially sad to most viewers and will most likely be disturbing to young viewers.
  • In another scene the antagonist is given a small insect for communication. The insect crawls into his ear and later covers his eye in Webbing which can be disturbing to young viewers.
