It's groundhog Day for Nadia.

Poor Nadia is stuck in a seemingly endless loop, this second episode is very similar to the first in content, but it definitely has more humour, I found myself laughing as Nadia tried getting down the stairs.

I love how the bizarre circumstances are unraveling, and that things she saw on that night are still relevant, but part of me is a little concerned that they're going to strong out the same format for the whole series, wait and see I guess.

The production values, music and acting are flawless. 8/10

The Great Escape

The show casually dropping drug references and dialogue takes me back to the 00's when programs about that topic were all over the airwaves.

This show definitely has me intrigued. It is clearly not for everyone though.

The mystery and intrigue of Nadia's predicament continues
DVD_Connoisseur7 February 2019
"The Great Escape" proves to be nothing of the kind for the dazed and confused protagonist, Nadia.

Nadia's nightmarish situation continues to baffle her. Natasha Lyonne is fantastic in the lead role.

Culture vultures will love the many cinematic references in the show.

8 out of 10. Fun and freaky.

I didn't enjoy the first episode very much, but I did started to laugh with this. Let's see how events continue to develop and how the idea to being trapped in the time loop is solved. Hope they find an intelligent answer to the mistery Short and funny, smart episodes I'll give it a try.

The Great Escape

It is the morning after, Nadia wakes up confused and tries to piece together what happened the night before.

Nadia needs to find out what was in that joint and she needs to contact her drug dealer.

The episode starts off with a longer segment, we even see Nadia doing a bit of coding at work. Then she dies and we go back to the beginning. Nadia's nightmare is not over.

Nadia consults a therapist but I was not sure if she was just a therapist or a family friend or a relation. I think I might be right that Nadia has suffered some past trauma.

There was a segment of the episode that was a tribute to Harvey Keitel in Mean Streets as Nadia downs drugs, booze and smokes a variety of cigarettes.

However if Nadia thinks she can live, die and repeat. The flowers in her party room seem to be wilting.

I do like that we find out more about Nadia in this episode but another layer of the mystery is then added.

Mind the step!

Nadine chases Maxine for information on the joint and follows up with the drug dealer. We discover it is not cocaine, but it is probably not the cause of her propensity to resurrect. Faced with this she decides to party.
