This crime-thriller depicts how adolescents react to a world that often treats them harshly. It builds on a problem that increasingly concerns German child service authorities during the last decade. They don't have the personnel anymore to supervise all the private children's homes they give money to. Hundreds of German children are even being "outsourced" to foreign European countries because their accomodation there is cheaper.
Built on this groundwork things in a German children's home and a Polish host family get far out of control and what makes matters worse is that Bukow's son is involved. During a time where Bukow hit rock bottom, lives with his father again and Bukow's partner randomly meets with strangers she finds on Tinder you're in for one hell of a ride.
