We're still rolling? I said "cut". Well, in my mind
This consists of interviews with the cast and crew, all of whom have something compelling to add within their area of expertise(and there is a very clear love of what they're working on), clips from the subject, behind-the-scenes footage, and incomplete effects shots.

It's 7 and a half minutes long. This is found on Disney+.

They talk about working with Taika Waititi. His many quirks. Numerous talents. That coming from making indies, he has familiarity with every element of filmmaking, and gets involved with all of them, despite the much larger scope here. We see some great (presumably ad-libbed) bits that didn't make it into the actual movie.

I recommend this to any fan of Thor Ragnarok. 8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
"Thor: Finding Korg" is a 7.5-minute live action short film from 2018, so this is three years old now and as you can already see from the title, this is linked to the Marvel universe. to be more precise, this is linked to the character of Thor and the films where the focus is on him and to be super precise, you can say that this little release we have here is about the Ragnarok film, the third Thor movie I think. The focus here is on director Taika Waititi. It is basically two different parts we got here. The first half of the film is his cast from the movie praising him and speaking a bit about his style of a director, which is a bit more wild and a bit more agile than the style that most other directors possess. That is really all you learn from it. Not a lot, not even for this running time. The second half focuses on Waititi as an actor and he plays a character in this film too, a big stone creature and Waititi elaborates a bit on his performance there and on the character in general, also on specific scenes. But I never felt one bit that this short film went below the surface and became actually insightful. The contrary is the case and if I give the outcome here four stars out of ten, then this is very much on the generous side. It's simply not good. The rating here on imdb is way too big.

The ways in which the cast members praise their director felt nothing too memorable either and when there is a bit of joking about Waititi trying out the (spectacular) costumes worn by extras himself, it never feels entertaining either. I mean here and there we have a moment where you could feel they were taking the comedic approach, but it just isn't working at all. Even actors that I generally like, such as Blanchett, did not leave an impression here whatsoever. The worst, as expected, was Mark Ruffalo. He may only have one line, one brief inclusion, but he managed to make it a cringeworthy one. I still have no clue why I liked him in his early years as an actor. But back to this one here: The photo on imdb is also a bit on the misleading side with Thanos at the center of it all. And not because it should be Thor you see there, but because it should be Waititi. Or Waititi's character Korg. So the title is more accurate. But not much because really only the second half here is about Korg and that is not a lot for such a short film.

This documentary also felt really rushed at times with the wild camera work. The one thing that really turned it into a disappointment, almost a failure, was the complete absence of modesty and subtlety really. It's probably not Waititi's style, at least subtlety, but this does not serve as a valid explanation really because it does not make the watch any better. Easy thumbs-down for me here and I surely do not recommend the watch. This is closer to one star out of five for me than to three (and thus a positive recommendation). Waititi is somewhat considered a contender for New Zealand's finest filmmaker nowadays because Peter Jackson's LotR trilogy is fairly old already and he is not too prolific in terms of new theatrical releases as the director and there aren't really many other heirs to the throne, but this documentary we have here was basically everything I do not want to see in a behind-the-scenes feature. I am glad it was this short. Did not get me curious about Waititi's other stuff one bit, even if his vampire movie from a few years ago was kinda decent if I remember correctly. This one here is not. Skip.

Thor is my all-time best characters, superheroes of all time. He is defeiently one of the best and most power characters in fiction. I love the THOR movies eventhough they have tons of room for improvement. The THOR we see on screen is peanuts to the THOR in the comics. The THOR in the comics is way tooooo powerful for live action therefore I understand why he is so nerfed in the films.

That being said I respect T. W. for making Ragnarok and THOR great. Not saying I didn't like the previous but he was able to give new life to THOR. However...

I am not a fan of Korg. He is annoying and unfunny. He ruined a sad moment when Asgard fell by telling a stupid joke. I don't understand why he's a fan favourite when he's annoying at best.

Korg in the MCU is the most annoying character. He will hold that title until maybe Ryandeadpool officially shows up in a film. (I had a lot of heat on the Korg Deadpool short review. I made 31 people upset because I revealed to them Ryandeadpool and Korg are annoying.)

TW is a good director and his cast respects him, so review isn't about him as a person but as his character Korg, just saying his take on Korg is annoying, and I don't like him at all.
