The short is very suspenseful and tension field from the first second in this scary situation by using very cleaver dialogue and cool and beautiful cinematography.

Admirable construction of tension using only the dialogue and precise use of claustrophia . A woman and a man in a bathroom , pieces of theater play , well crafted end. Short- great simplicity , reflected by cinematography.

Warning: Spoilers
(SPOILERS) A woman enters a bathroom stall to get changed for a job interview. Outside the stall door a man starts talking to her, causing the woman inside to go through a range of emotions. As a short film it delivers well in terms of tension and putting the viewer in the stall. There is a fear of the unknown, a sense of being trapped and at risk, and the lead actress conveys that well, but the film works better when reflected on.

My initial reaction to the ending (where it turns out the man had been telling the truth) was to side with the man, who been taken to be an attacker even though he was just your run of the mill idiot who doesn't understand social etiquette. Part of me then felt that the film had done him a disservice by forcing the viewer to be on her 'side' for the majority of the film. On reflection afterwards, the conclusion is that there is truth on both sides. The man was only guilty of poor judgement, which the woman's mistake had created the situation in which it happened. The woman though is not to be blamed for feeling trapped and at risk - it shows this well, and it is related to the gender difference. Neither of them is 'right', but neither is wrong either, and the film does that well - even though for the majority of the running time it was important that it didn't show that.

Not quite the experience film of Birdie, even though it covers similar turf, but an engaging and thoughtful film built on good tension.
